View Full Version : PSN Online\Offline Notification
I seem to remember seeing the setting, or reading about it somewhere... to turn off the notification thing that tells you when your friends come online and go offline... but for the life of me I can't seem to find the setting anywhere now...
I only have 3 PSN friends... but I swear if I see the pop-up while I'm gaming one more time I'm gonna thrown a brick through my tv!! lol..
please, I just bought the tv... help me... save my tv!! where is the freakin setting!! lol
LOL!!.. ok go to the PS3 Settings..then go to System Settings then go to Notification. then turn it off or setting "Do not display".

thanks i was having this problem to, very annoying, although when some of my freinds from school get ps3's ill turn it back on. + rep!

thanks bro :D .. tis was fun the other night.. we shall do it again some time. i might be on resistance later tonite not 100% sure.. gonna wanna check out that full auto 2demo so... plus DL the trailers so i'll be a good 1hr+ tonite just downloading :D
i had actually turned it off because it was annoying me too.. but then that turns off messages too.. i had a stock pile of messages that i was getting LOL! soi had to turnit back on cause i was days late in replying to those messages.. its not too too annoying for me... i wish it was a nicer graphic instead a plain dull grey box.. also i wish you could change the location of the box.. i would prefer it at one of the bottom corners or bottom middle... it blocks my Radar in Resistance and its important for when im playing online :D.... BLAHHH.. hell i might just turn it back off..
like, you can't see messages at all?? or it just doesn't tell you you have new ones?

you will still receive your messages and whatever.. but you will NOT get a "notification" saying "You have received a new message" or "Blah Blah is online" and "Blah Blah is now Offline"..
aahh, well i can live with that :) thx!
I'll just check my messages before turning off the system and whatnot.
