Half Life 2 the best graphics... Since the first 1. And Counterstrike is even better.
OK tell me wat u think of half life 2??? i think its the best game on pc at the mom.
Half Life 2 is a great game. But IMO Far Cry has the best gameplay/ Replay Value.
Half life 2 was is quite a short game but loads of action packed scenes to deal with. 8/10
Good But Not Quite what i was promised.

I loved the ending of HL2 It just made all the shooting so worth it.

The ending wanted to make me throw my computer into a pond, but yea, it was great. Farcry equals it in my opinion, but both have different elements that make them awesome.
I am just POD that I have to pay 17 dollars for DOD because I freaking bought the retail package! WTF IS THAT!
EDIT: To clear myself up, I am pissed off beyond all belief about having to pay 17 dollars for Day of Defeat: Source. I payed 50 dollars for the retail, but that apparently wasn't enough!
POD? DOD? What's with all the abbreviations?
I thought Half Life 2 was one of the greatest FPS in awhile and I can't wait for Lost Coasts.
Lost Cost is a single level and it may be available on steam on September 30th.
Aftermath is said to be coming out in November.
Valve have said that Aftermath isn't the end of Half Life 2 though, they are planning to make a couple of expansion packs.
Graphically their are many games that surpass Half Life 2, but what made it stand out from the rest is the character animations and very realistic textures.

Question, is aftermath free? I know Lost Coast is. I am not going to get DOD after some consideration, I don't think it's worth it because I play Battlefield 2 now, and it cost me a lot.

No you will have to pay, it will be avalerble via Steam & Retail

Hey i know exactly how you feel. Im a DoD player myself and if it wasnt for DoD:S I wouldnt have bought HL2. So i went out on the launch day here and got it for 60€ (which is... what, $70?) Then DoD was supposed to come out around christmas and i was all hyped. Then of course nothing was released. And now its almost a year from that and i still have to pay 19€ to buy the damn thing! So basically DoD:S is 79€ for me...
But im willing to pay it to stick with my DoD clan, and the mapping abilities of HL2 make it worth it too. :D
HL2 was a big disapointment the game was to short and the story was screwed up like the first one, over all the gameplay was fun for the first couple of levels then it got boring.

Infos on Half Life 2: Lost Coast.
Half-Life 2 finds Lost Coast
Valve releases single-player level showcasing new tech for Source engine; content designed for high-level PCs.
Valve today announced that Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, bonus content for the company's popular first-person shooter, is now available for download via Steam. The add-on features one single-player level meant to show off some new technology incorporated into the game's prized Source engine.
The new tech is "high-dynamic range lighting," and amps up the high bar of graphics already set by the shooter. As such, Valve admits that old rigs have no place trying to run the level, and that system requirements are "very high." Valve's download service, Steam, will prompt would-be players if their CPUs do not meet the company's minimum requirements.
Half-Life 2: Aftermath, the first full expansion to the game, is still in the works. For more on Lost Coast, check out GameSpot's hands-on preview.

Looks like this holiday season is already kicking off tremendously for the PlayStation 3. With the recent announcement of the 40GB PS3 set at a price of $399, gamers all over who did not already own a PS3, immediately began to ponder about purchasing one.
Proof of that concept shows with the CompUSA online (http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?pfp=BROWSE&N=201271&product_code=349207) store as the 40GB PS3 which comes with the Spiderman 3 Blu-ray packed inside, is sold out. Yes, that is right, sold out until more stock comes in. This is an instant reminder to around this time last year when the PS3 was in high demand. Consider that it is still early in November and we are nowhere near Black Friday. So if you are one of pose individuals that will be seeking out a 40GB PS3 either for yourself or as a gift for another, then please do not take this likely and make sure that you snab one up as soon as possible.
