PSP Music and Video Transfer?

The psp has an option of transferring pics from PSP to PSP.

How come the same feature isnt available for vids and music files on the memory stick ??
Is sony even planning to put this feature in there ??

PS: yes, i'm talking about unprotected music files.

Because Sony didn't add it in the 2.00 update, plain and simple. When the next update comes (I'm predicting it will come very soon because of the downgrade hack) they might add that in, but unfortunately I think the next update will just be a security update (update 2.01)

Although it akes me wonder, Sony has added stuff in 2.0 which was hacked earlier for 1.5 ..
e.g.:
photo transfer, wallpaper, internet browser ... all hacked for 1.5 and are now in the firmware for the PSP with 2.0

I would only consider applying wallpaper to be a hack. The Internet browser wasn’t really a hack made on the PSP, but rather on Wipeout Pure.

How were you able to transfer photos on v1.50? This is the first time I've heard anyone say they can transfer photos wirelessly with v1.50.

I find it funny that hacker try to hack the psp. it's like a min computer. That's really fun to play around with.

I found this software on a different forum (using google search) ...

Some members of the forum have used it and they say it works perfectly for file transfers between psp's and other devices.

when downloaded the file and read the "readme", it says :

I take no responsibility for any damages or problems caused to
your PSP by the use of this program. Use at your own risk.

I really wanna download it to sync my cellphone and PSP , but that warning really stops me from doing so ... ( i live in a country where PSP repairs is far from possible) ..
anybody here willing to take the risk ?

hey just get it if you like its just letting you know if your psp breaks your not aloud to blame that software. i mean you cant get it then do something to your psp and then blame it on that thats all but then it could mean something else.

but i just want to know ... if that software is gonna b "installed" onto the PSP, can i re-install the firmware update v2.0 to get the stuff erased ??

you would have to downgrade or hope that overwrites that one. because once its on the system you cant reinstall it or uninstall it. mabe wait for another update and try it if its messes it up put on the other.

Best thing to use for music is SonicStage 3.2, best thing for videos and movies is PSP Video Express, or PSP Video Maker if you want to rip dvds to your PSP also. The Express verison is free, the movie maker is express but with the dvd feature

i have sonicstage but it doesnt do the songs right the way i want it. and the best thing for movies is pspvideo9
