1. Dirk Nowitski -
2. Kevin Garnett / Rasheed Wallace

The list looks really good, except I don't think Rasheed Wallace should be put on a list of the best basketball players at that position in the league. Plus, Ben Wallace is an amazing defensive center, but if you are talking about a great player, how did Amare Stoudamire not make the list for centers?
I would have everything the same except I would take off the "/Rasheed Wallace" and just leave Kevin Garnett there. And then replace Ben Wallace with Amare Stoudamire.
This thread is totally based on the veiwers' opinion's.

I think KG could be put on the same list as Dirk. I mean not for the same things of course, obviously Dirk is a better shooter, but Garnett is one of the best basketball players in the NBA. And underrated I might add. His team is just show bad that we barley get to see how good he actually is.
By the way... your pistons are playing my Cavs right now, tied and going into the 4th. I think we'll get Sheed and some of your others in foul trouble though. He already has 4.

I know.... even though we lost I stilled loved that game. I real "nail bitter" if you get my flow. :lol:

Yes I do.. Dallas is my second favorite team... and the Spurs are one my most hated teams.

I was studying with my books on my lap and jumped up and woke up everyone in the house. Was pretty exciting for me, but then I couldn't stop laughing at Coach Mike Brown. They kept replaying him over and over; setting his waterbottle down, and then running off the court waving for everyone else to follow him.
This is pretty much my new favorite rivalry to watch now.

DWade - Avg 10.7 FTA a game
Kobe - Avg 10.2 FTA a game
Arenas - Avg 10.0 FTA a game
James - Avg 10.3 FTA a game
All within 1 FT a game. Wade gets less than a extra foul called than those others.
Dirk - Avg 7.4 FTA a game. Wade gets 2 extra fouls than Dirk. That's nothing.
This is not even the amount more FTs James, Wade, Kobe, Arenas get at the end of the game when the fouling game begins. On Dallas's team Terry handles the ball when the game is in fouling mode.

Game 7 Dallas VS Spurs, Spurs up 3. Dirk takes it to the rack and makes it with a very ticky tack foul. To the naked eye there was no foul.
Point is that the game today is very ticky tack. You can blame Mark Cuban for that. He lobbied bigtime to get the handchecking foul called. He lobbied hard to make it a less physical game. Now he wants the opposite of what he wanted b/c his team isn't benefiting.
As for Wade. Wade takes it to the rack more than anybody in the league. So wouldn't you think he should lead the league in FTA a game? I would. Also as I stated above the FTA a game isn't that more than Kobe, Arenas, Lebron. All with similar styles of game. Dirk doesn't get alot of fouls called b/c he's not physical like Kobe, Wade, Lebron and Arenas. Dirk got man handled by Haslem.
