I believe a media discussion section is a good ig=dea for the following reasons:

1. HD-DVD threads are being posted in the 360 section when 360 won't even use it without an add-on drive. Because of this, I believe HD-DVD and Xbox 360 discussion truly doesn't belong together in the same section.

2. Pretty much all Blu-ray related topics are being posted in the PS3 section. Although PS3 will employ Blu-ray as it's media, PS3 isn't the only device to make use of it. Movies, Computer Software, etc. will also be making use of Blu-ray in the future, so to have all Blu-ray related discussion in the PS3 section is not that good of an idea.

3. There are plenty of topics than can be moved to that section if it were to be created, and new media related topics are created almost every day, so the section probably wouldn't go unused.

4. It could be used as a place to discuss other forms of media, past, present, and future.

Please consider my idea.

Hmm, intresting. I think there's some good and some bad. The good would be, no more posts about Blu-ray and HD-DVD posts in either of the 360 or PS3 sections. I'm so sick of that war it's ridiculous. The bad would be that forum wouldn't be getting to much attention any more. The media format wars are great ways for users to produce some key arguments and get some posts in. If it's in another section some people would not go out of their way to post about it.

I dunno, i could go either way.

i dont think alot of talk would go along with it. i mean it would be like 3 topics in it. i think we should just leave it alone for now. unless mabe a tv one for like tv realated things movies and media but i dont think just media would work so well. but dont think im being mean its just my opinion.

Today's pre-Thanksgiving US Store update is now live. Here's a list of the boatload of content which should clog your HDD's with gaming goodness just in time for turkey day.

The two downloadable games in the form of PSEye titles. The cuddly Operation Creature Feature weighs in at $4.99 and 135 MB, and interactive fish tank title Aquatopia is available for $1.99 at a size of 38.9 MB. For more on these titles check here. One new demo is available this week - MX vs. ATV. Own the off-road by taking control of an ATV, MX bike or Offroad Buggy and tearing through the terrain in this robust demo. It will take up a reasonable 714 MB.

Several price drops on current PS Store titles have been implemented until November 29th. We highly recommend Everyday Shooter at its reduced price of $4.99, but if you don't have them, Calling All Cars, flOw, and Pixel Junk Racers will all be available for $4.99.

The downloadable add-ons are as follows:

flOw DL Pack ($2.99)

The flOw Expansion Pack enhances the current flOw universe with an all-new campaign and playable creature. Added “Camera foodâ€
