The reason it isn't working is because KJ is trying to upload the signature through the "upload" options. What he needs to to is just copy in the Image URL.

That error won't come up.

Hi my name is Devan George. Anyone want to tell me why I'm in the NBA?

http://blogs.dallasobserver.com/unfairpark/Devean%20George.jpg

Not really worried. If the boys had JET, woulda been an easy win. Josh Howard in foul troube allowing the worst player to ever put on a Maverick's uniform, Devan George. Or maybe when the refs start calling any of the 5 various moving screens the Celtics set on any given play. That'd be a start.

Devan George can eat a ****. He also won't be going anywhere unless we trade him to a contender due to his bird rights, those same bird rights that is the sole reason we don't have Mike Miller right now when the Mavs planned on using him to get the hairy 3 point bomber.

Mavs need a low post threat....BAD. Cuban declined a Kidd for Davis/Kaman trade a few days ago, and rightfully so, both are injury prone and Davis just flat out sucks, and both their contracts run till 2012. Now that Antoine Wright is starting to get good, the 2 guard void is semi-filled. Low post scorer please, Cuban.

Dirk for Bosh has been a huge rumor in Dallas for the entire last month. You'd know if you lived here.

KG completely fail? He was leading teams with no help around him. Dirk can't even get it done with half an all-star cast surrounding him. Only a complete homer would take Dirk over Kevin Garnett, lol. Just hilarious.

Also, LOL @ Piggy Back Pierce and Allen... Both of those guys couldn't even win a playoff series until Garnett showed up.

Dirk had an ALL STAR cast that year...still couldn't get it done. San Antonio pwned the Mavs year after year if it wasn't the Kings doing it.

Both Allen and Pierce have played in 10 less playoff games than Kevin Garnett. I wonder why. Oh, that's right... Because Garnett lead his team to the playoffs several times with nobody around him.

Garnett only needed ONE NBA championship series to win a title. Where was Dirk? Lol.

Guy with career averages of 25 and 11 in the playoffs sure must fail.

All star cast? Howard? Big whoop. He sucks. If any Mav should be getting traded, it's the guy who decided to throw a birthday party in the middle of a playoff series.

You said Allen and Pierce couldn't win a playoff series, but they've been to the Conf Finals. Why backpeddal?

San Antonio? I have no idea what happened the last time they met in the playoffs . . .

Great..they should trade Dirk for Bosh and watch the team fall even further into the toilet.

2008 Playoffs.

Kevin Garnet 530 pts .495%
Ray Allen 405 pts .428%
Paul Pierce 511 pts .441%

Yeah, I see which Celtic put the most up on the board for his team...

Garnett also lead in steals, blocks, and total rebounds.

Yeah, Garnett really piggy backed his way to the Finals. How foolish of me.

It was called an exaggeration, take it for the context it was in. Obviously Allen and Pierce have both won playoff series before. Most star players have since the NBA can have series won with one man teams.

Dirk for Bosh would be a complete upgrade for the Mavericks. They'd gain an inside presence and a 24 year old for a 31 year old (Dirk turns 31 soon)... LOL Yeah, that would be completely asinine on the Mavericks part...

Bosh gives the Mavericks his age of 24 years old which also gives the Mavs a longer window of opportunity. Where will Dirk be at 35 talent-wise? Slowly washing up? Bosh will just be entering the prime of his career.

Bosh also offers an INSIDE game, something Dirk doesn't...though some may want to act like he does, he doesn't.

Bosh is an infinite better choice than Dirk would be right now for the Mavericks and for the future.

Bosh isn't much more of an inside presence than Dirk is. He's pretty soft.

Dave

Well that might be because that's not a strong part of his game. But if I was one of the best jump shooters in the history of the game, I wouldn't lose much sleep over it. He's improved every area of his game since he came in the league when he was a blonde version of Peja. There hasn't been a perfect player yet to play in the nba.

That's fantastic if it wasn't for the fact that the Mavs don't need a jump shooter, they need an inside guy. Probably why it would benefit the Mavs most to get an inside guy like Bosh or Stoudemire.

Anyway, I finally got my new TV stand put together, so I need to move my old TV into my bedroom so they can set up and install my new TV tomorrow morning in the living room. I'm out for a couple of hours.

You've taken this L like a man, at least.

The Mavericks are a finesse basketball team. They need an inside guy who can run the court time and time again without giving up a ton of court in the process. Guys like Bosh and Stoudemire fit that need. They need an offensive inside presence more so than the defensive inside presence.

KingJordan
02-13-2009, 15:06
Why, so they can give up as many points as they score? Amare Stoudemire is a worthless lockerroom cancer. Mavs already have a few me, me, me players, they don't need the biggest one there is. I'd rather have Hakim Warrick over Amare.

What is funnier, Cooley getting ignored by Fitz, or Fitz getting chumped by the AFC guy at the end? :p

(For anyone who knows Cooley, he is a very funny guy that jokes around a lot and doesn't take anything to seriously.)

Chris Cooley: “Larry Fitzgerald Made Me Look Like A Moron” (http://www.sportaphile.com/2009/02/12/chris-cooley-larry-fitzgerald-made-me-look-like-a-moron/)

Have you ever raised your hand to give someone daps (or a high five), and they completely ignored you and made you feel stupid.?
Yeah, thats never happened to me either, but it DID happen to Chris Cooley of the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
Larry Fitzgerald made one of those amazing catches he’s known for in the Pro Bowl, and Chris runs over to Larry and raises his hand for some love. The problem is Larry had something else in mind, he completely ignored Cooley and runs over and chest bumps Anquan Boldin.

YouTube - NFL Pro Bowl 2009 - Larry Fitzgerald's 1st NFC TD

He wrote a blog post about it (http://chriscooley47.blogspot.com/2009/02/fitzgerald.html) on his website, and detailed the embarrassment and teasing it caused in the locker room:
“He left me stranded and alone with nothing to do but put my head down and feel like a total ***. I mean what do I do at that point? Go find some lineman running down the field and share an Icky Shuffle with him, I don’t think so. At least it was in the end closest to the locker room and I was able to walk straight in.
Before I was able to get in the doors Witten and Jared Allen joined me and they couldn’t even talk in between gasping laughs. I got to admit it was pretty damn funny and we joked about it throughout the halftime break. I started asking Larry and he just says Anquan’s his boy! Anquan said it was dirty though. I told Fitz that the rest of his career it doesn’t matter how good he plays, I will never remember anything besides him dumping on me in 09.”

As is custom for Valentine's Day, many businesses are offering heart-shaped merchandise. Papa John's (http://consumerist.com/tag/papa-john.s/) Pizza is offering a such a themed pizza. But, as is often the case, reality can be strikingly different than advertising. Come inside to see what the pizza actually looks like.

Now, I am no biologist, but that does not seem heart-shaped to me. It looks like a moon just on the beginning of the cycle, or a cuddly, passive-aggressive demon. What about you, readers? What does the Papa John's FailPizza look like to you, and what oddly themed holiday is it really celebrating? Leave your best below.

GIANTS TAG JACOBS (http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/02/13/giants-tag-jacobs/)

Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports (and we’ve separately confirmed) that the Giants have slapped the franchise tag on running back Brandon Jacobs (http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/giants/2009/02/giants-slap-franchise-tag-on-j.html).
The move means that Jacobs is guaranteed a one-year salary of $6.621 million.
The move also means that running back Derrick Ward will become a free agent if he doesn’t sign a new deal by February 26.

COMMISH CUTS HIS PAY (http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/02/13/commish-cuts-his-pay/)

Posted by Mike Florio on February 13, 2009, 6:14 p.m.
In a move that is hardly symbolic given the dollars involved, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has cut his 2008 pay by up to 25 percent, and he’ll not accept a raise for 2009.
Since Goodell’s total pay for the 2008 fiscal year, which ends March 31, the cut translates to well over $2 million.
Think about that for a second. Goodell gave up voluntarily well over $2 million.
“The Commissioner believes it will take a collective sacrifice of everyone (http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/2009-02-12-roger-goodell_N.htm) to get through this difficult economic environment,” NFL V.P. of corporate communications Brian McCarthy told USA Today.
We’ll be curious to see who else, if anyone, makes a $2 million sacrifice.

This is pretty crazy statistically.

The 2 best players in the NBA, on 2 of the best potential championship teams in the NBA still can't compete with a game that most NFL fans think is more meaningless than a pre-season game.

With all it's flaws the NFL is still the greatness!

MEANINGLESS FOOTBALL STILL BETTER THAN MEANINGFUL BASKETBALL (http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/02/13/meaningless-football-still-better-than-meaningful-basketball/)

Posted by Mike Florio on February 13, 2009, 7:23 a.m.
We’ve been meaning to mention this one for a couple of days, ever since hearing Dan Patrick mention it on his radio show.
The Pro Bowl, which we’ve said again and again that we don’t like in its current, is still preferred viewing among sports fans.
Though the official rating for the Pro Bowl dropped from 6.3 to 5.4, it bested the Kobe-LeBron clash on ABC (http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/article/127648).
The Lakers-Cavs game drew only a 3.8.
Next year, the rating for the Pro Bowl likely will be higher, since it’s being played in Miami a week before the Super Bowl. The mere anticipation of the NFL title game should prompt more viewers to tune in.
But, still, the Pro Bowl has problems, and fixing it requires something more meaningful than playing it two weeks earlier, with none of the participants from the Super Bowl involved.
That said, the NFL clearly remains the king of the hill when it comes to pro or amateur sports.

Middle of the regular season game doesn't mean much and both of those teams weren't fully healthy, so it's no wonder it's rating weren't that high.

if i remember right, kitna is among the most sacked the past few years... and they can't run the ball.

a rookie QB is gonna take 3 years to develop into a viable weapon- if he even does.

build up o-line, d-line, grab a FA QB and wait until some hot shot QB is available in the draft.

BRADY BLUSTER HURTS TRADE LEVERAGE FOR CASSEL? (http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/02/18/brady-hurts-trade-leverage-for-cassel/)

Posted by Mike Florio on February 18, 2009, 3:02 p.m. EST
On the surface, it’s good news that Patriots starting quarterback Tom Brady declared on Wednesday that he’s on track to return to action in 2009.
At a deeper level, the organization probably would prefer that Brady refrain from displaying such candor, since it will make it harder for the Pats to get the best possible trade package for backup Matt Cassel.
The logic is simple — if there’s no doubt about Brady’s availability for 2009, the Pats don’t need Cassel and his $14.65 million cap number for the coming league year. And this would remove from the equation the team’s potential leverage based on the perception that his services might be required by his current team.
In other words, if a team like the 49ers is offering a first-round pick, it makes it difficult for the Pats to say, “Well, we’re really taking a big risk if we let him go, so we’ll need more than that to justify taking the risk.”
“You wouldn’t know I had surgery if you watched us (http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/29261157/),” Brady said, according to Tom Curran of NBCSports.com.
“I certainly think so,” Brady said as to his expected ability to play in 2009. “There’s no reason why I shouldn’t. I wish it was right around the corner. . . . I’m doing everything. I’m playing quarterback, that’s what I’m doing. Everything. Golfing.”
So the teams that might be interested in trading for Cassel would like to thank you, Tom, for making it a little easier to pry your understudy away.

I don't like the 360 controller for fighters period. That D-Pad feels too awkward.

Unless you put the money out for a Fight Stick of any kind, buying SFIV for the 360 is dumb (unless your only choice). Anyone with both consoles should go with PS3 simply because the D-Pad and Analog are both better for fighters.

MEET THE NFL’S NEW HIGHEST-PAID PLAYER (http://withleather.uproxx.com/2009/02/meet-the-nfls-new-highest-paid-player)

http://cdn.withleather.uproxx.com-s1.simplecdn.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/nnamdi_asomugha.jpg (http://withleather.uproxx.com/?attachment_id=15324)Unless you read last year’s Pro Football Prospectus (http://footballoutsiders.com/extra-points/2009/updated-asomugha-resigned), you might want to sit down for this one: Raiders cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha just signed the most lucrative per annum deal in NFL history: three years, 45.3 million smackeroos.
The first two years pay him $28.5 million - all guaranteed. That’s how much he would have made if the Raiders used the franchise tag on him. The difference now is both years are guaranteed against injury.
The third year will pay him $16.8 million, or the average of the top five quarterback salaries whichever is higher, according to multiple national reports. The Raiders have a team option for that third year but must void it in early March 2011 or that season’s salary becomes fully guaranteed.
Extravagant cash for a defensive player? Consider that Asomugha would have earned the same money had the Raiders been forced to use the franchise tag to keep him. He’s a shutdown cornerback and possibly the best player in Oakland; he’s a proven guy that’s being retained at a competitive rate. But one has to wonder: How valuable can one Assmonger be to a 5-11 team?

Lethalmind

I'm not saying it's never happened, but that is not typical or anything I've seen before.

Most games the coach will step on the field and yell at refs and calls the refs over to yell at them more. Pretty standard stuff. If someone has been hired to stop this they need to be fired, lol.
