What games would you want the most for to be playable online witht the revolution? I would have to say my top 5 are....
5. Mario Kart
4. Super Smash Bros
3. Harvest Moon MMO
2. Mario Tennis
1. Double Dragon (Co-Op online) NES
Oh hell, I want every game to be multiplayer online. It would be a nice way to meet people that like the games I do.

Oh hell, I want every game to be multiplayer online. It would be a nice way to meet people that like the games I do.Most or all of NIntendo games for Gamecube was Multiplayer. so I can't see why they can't make that online. Nintendo is about grouping people for party and familys.

I was going to, but my list started getting too long so I just copped out. Seriously, I wouldnt mind playing games with anyone if they could somehow put online code to the second or so controller ports on all the old games AND make all the new games online as well. Nintendo could just be one big worldwide party of people who are tired of big corporate shenanigans.

I hate to say it but if to play games online is going to be free like the ps2 was. then maybe just maybe I could buy the REVO. I find it very hard to like nintendo b/c to be that gamecube Flop badly. Even if nintendo did make profit. I feel they let me down. but if they are going to have a bad kick service like M$ live then that great to here. I mean don't tell people it's free and change them to play games with there friends online.

So people either wanted the system with the most titles (PS2) or the system with the most power (XBox).. It left GameCube in that "in-between" spot. And Mr. Inbetween always loses.

Alot of people buy the gba only b/c it's the only Handheld out that's good. Now that psp is out then GBA won't sell as good as soon as psp price drop's down.

The problem is, that Nintendo doesnt necessarily want to attract your typical hardcore gamer or mildcore gamer, even. If you want to play more adult oriented games, then there are already two consoles in the market that will PACK the shelves with what you're looking for. That is a losing game for Nintendo. However, one thing that Nintendo can do to attract some new customers and boost sales is to offer the games that a lot of people grew up with. A lot of older mature gamers went on to gaming PCs because they have jobs and can afford them. However, Nintendo can cash in on nostalgia and lure back people to buying their console who may or may not have even bought a game console in a while. It may not necessarily be the answer you were looking for, but it is a surefire way to shake off the notion that it is "the console for the kids". Even mommy and daddy can tuck in their kids at night and play their old favorite games on the Rev.

I mean I sure lot's of us grow up with the Nes and Snes.
Yeah, I just think Nintendo would rather skirt around the whole violent videogame thing as much as they possibly can. In all honesty, I think Nintendo would be very pleased to be a second console of choice for the hardcore gamers. Nintendo needs to carve out a unique market share for themselves that doesn't have competition. Adult/mature games will be even more prevelent in the next generation than they are now, just because its a growing piece of the demand structure of console gaming. However, Nintendo wouldnt be doing its target audience any service by trying to get a piece of that action.
Nintendo needs to do exactly what they said, find some clean water that doesnt reak of the bloody console wars and settle there.

Give me Mario and alot of other classic tiltles and i'll be happy . I don't know if Double Dragon was a Nintendo game but that would be great aswell , i loved that title and haven't played it in a long time .How awesome would that be to have Revolution able to play all the old skool classics and PS3 the cutting edge high def games .
Jeez , i don't know about you guys but damn next gen is gonna be so much fun and unforunately make most of us poor and homeless in the process :lol:

you know what i was thinking when i saw this. well the nintendo can play all the old games so what if there was a way to play them online. like the old old mario or the shooting games and things like that. that would be awsome.

I would like a pokemon online game. It's could be done like if it was MMORPG.

They have hinted at this in the past, and it would be really nice to play some of those great classic games online. Let's hope that Nintendo does implement this into some of the games.

As soon as I seen the title of this thread Metroid Prime came to mind. Infact they should have every FPS for the Nintendo Revolution online. The games are going to be very competitive with that controller. It will be awesome.
Oh and I would like to see Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, and if they, for some reason, still bring "The Sims" to consoles next generation, then I would like to see that online.

I would like to see some new IPs go online, since we all know nintendo's strength is their IP creation.
Current IPs to go online, I would choose:
Metriod
Mario Kart
Pokemon MMORPG
Mario Party
Mario * (basketball,baseball...etc you get the idea)
Not only that but I would like to see online built in to games like mario, such as rankings for how fast you finish a level and such... In other words even if its not online multiplayer, I would still like to see some utilization of online capabilities.
Also, depending on the controller and its mouse-like control, I would like to see the FPS genre flourish on the rev. If the controller functions as well as a mouse setup, I would love to see games like UT,COD,q3a, etc etc come to rev with online multiplayer.
And its a bit of a pipedream but its been rumored, I would like to see download and play used online... I think it would be a cool feature to add, and there are plenty of ways you could limit it so that it wouldnt just be 1 person with the game. The possibility to expand online gaming with this function is fairly large, and we know that what nintendo wants to do is expand their market rather than catering to the current one like sony and microsoft.

I want it to have Super smash online. And it would be cool if it had a feature where you could take pictures like in Melee, except you could save them on your memory card, and take them to your friend's, and show him the pictures. That would be cool.
Oh, And Metroid Prime and Mario kart, or any FPS would be cool. 8)

Since World of Warcraft took gamers by storm, it has now becoming a developing trend in the industry to atleast consider a NMO. One company however Square-Enix, is no stranger to the market as they received success with Final Fantasy XI which was a MMO that was featured on both the PC, and consoles. Speaking of Final Fantasy XI, at a recent festival celebrating the game, Square Enix VP, Hiromichi Tanaka, revealed a bit of info regarding the latest Square-Enix MMO project.
“As you might already know, members from the current FFXI team are working on a next generation MMO, but it still hasn't been decided whether that's going to be a game in the FF series, a continuation, or a totally new game. We are working on it, but it hasn't been decided that far yet.â€
