March 14, 2007 - Several new goodies become available on the PlayStation Store this Thursday. Chief among the additions is the release of a Def Jam: Icon demo. Icon, which shipped recently and is available in stores for $59.99, continues the legacy of EA's successful street brawler franchise. Though IGN wasn't too hot on Icon (http://ps3.ign.com/articles/770/770563p1.html), you can test the demo for yourself tomorrow. Also available tomorrow are three new behind-the-scenes videos about Resistance: Fall of Man and several Paramount Pictures movie trailers. That's good news, everybody loves demos. 8)
Plus, this isn't a game that I was planning on buying or renting; so I guess they get a shot at my money now.
yep the demo will be the tell tell sign of whether or not to purchase this

:DD will save me 60 bucks to check it out 1st an see if i like it i cant wait
i still cant believe that the MLB 2K7 demo has not yet hit the PSstore.. sad.. sad. world it is...

I've been wanting to try this one out, so its a good addition to me. It should clear any concerns i got from mixed reviews, just keep 'em coming!
Not a fan of Def Jam, but any addition to PSN is good I suppose.

new content in the PS store encourages me not to go out n buy stuff... lol, the ps3 just keeps handing me things to do =P

Never played DefJam, not really into rap, but heck, a demo is a demo, so i'll still play it :P
Why do we have to be the ones so desperate for demos? :(

Meh, not interested. At least it's something though. I will be impressed with PSN whenever Heavenly Sword and Lair both get demos on it... whenever that will be. Although, the Motorstorm demo rocks. :)
I guess I will try it out. If I don't like it... Delete. :D Yay for additions to PSN!

Still a lot of crap to me. :( Sony is still to far behind and there is no reason for it. More movie trailers, fascinating, I can watch them on line for nothing with out having to download them then deleting them slowing down my PS3 HDD. GIVE US DAMN DEMOS.

I agree with you 100% man, theres no excuse for the lack of content on PSN this far into the game. I have said this many times before but I really hope they are not focusing on the online content just because of the EU launch because if this is their normal behavior they will have a rocky road ahead.

MK II will be out 3/15 Thurs., I wish we would of gotten a demo of Street before bought that sorry excuse for a game.:(
Seems like very slowly but surely we're getting something every Thurs.

calling all cars is supposed to be out today too isnt it ??? i hope so i have been waiting for this game big time
BTW i played the 360 version of ICON and it was pretty bad ... very slow paced and the controls werent exactly responsive

Sony usually puts new things at Mid-night... u have to wait abit longer now.. dot worry they are coming :D

and for you people that complain about sonys lack of demos on PSN, remember, sony loves to tease, that keeps the demand high. dont expect anything less than the most brilliant marketing minds working for the worlds biggest electronics conglomerate.
