I don't have a PS3 yet, but i am dying in curiosity, what does chatting with your friends look like?
If some one can get pics that would be great.

if you have video it's col you can chat with up to six ppl and watch them i do it all the time

It would be uber great if you can get pics of it, i just wana know the interface of the friends list and such.

if you are using text chatting, it's like sending a cell phone text. The interface is 3 letters on each button and 1 number (kinda like vice versa of a cell phone) i have yet to try video chat, seeing as i don't have a video camera and i only know 2 other friends who have a ps3.
Besides the eye-toy, what else works as a webcam for ps3?
I'm pretty sure almost any USB webcam should work, I know I can even get my digital video cam to work through USB, and it was easier to setup than getting it to work for MSN too.
But as for the future? There's Home for chatting, and that will blow any of this away.
Screenshot: Picture a big black room with squares that either have your friend's avatars or video feeds in them, thats about it for video/voice chat.
would you say that it is better than XBL?
or is it the same?
