View Full Version : Scheduled Forum Downtime
Morpheus and I shall be doing some much needed maintenance work(upgrading to latest version of phpBB etc...) on the forums this Sunday and are likely to be down for a couple of hours. Just to let everyone know!
Just to let everyone know that we couldn't manage to retain all of the mods intact, and so we have temporarily lost some features such as Skill Level and Quick Reply. Over the coming days we shall be reinstalling them, so just to let you guys know the situation.

A job listing on Crytek's web site reveals that the German developer may be planning a Crysis spin-off or unrelated PlayStation 3 game. The listing asks for a PlayStation 3 console programmer and states that the person will be responsible for developing a “GameFramework based on CryEngine 2.0”.
Crytek last wowed audiences with the unveiling of Crysis, and have not confronted rumors that the game will also appear on next-gen consoles. It is yet unclear if the person hired will also be responsible for making a PlayStation 3 version of Crysis, however, even if a PlayStation 3 version is to be developed, it is unlikely that it will be released along with the PC version at the end of this year.
Crytek has yet to make any public announcements on the new game.
