View Full Version : PS2 Xmas no.1 game... (in the UK, i dunno about the others)
Belive it or not NFS:U 2 is xmas no.1, i dunno why but i played it and it was like the first one, but abit more effort put into it that makes it just as bad as the first one, i am gobsmaked it really is terrible game, it bored the arse off me (not as bad a big rigs, but it might as well be there any ways it sucks ass) any ways, do you think a diffrent game should have been XMAS no.1, and wich one... also what is your XMAS no.1 in your region?

It offers nothing new other than the "innovative" free-roaming feature, which IMO, greatly ruined the game.

That feature just makes it take longer in between races IMO, but some ppl must love it.

What does IMO stand for? And my cousin said that he liked the free roam. I don't like the realistic. Like when your going too fast and if you turn you skid and turn around. In a way which makes the game better to prevent it from getting boring fast.
Need for Speed didn't do so well, it was the worst sequel that I've seen...and played... :(
I didnt care for it to much either..as I have stated previously somewhere else.

it didnt do nearly aswell on xbox. was Ranked 7th
My local game store ranked it 1st, thats it, i think GAME-UK are retarded, am gunna go some where else :D lol

hmm, i got some buddies over there but they told me they buy most of their games from Canada because of some free shipping deal and they also hate getting games later than the US.
Thats absoulty true, i dunno why the UK is mostly the last in Films especially, but games as well and it makes the communtiy feel degraded, when actually the UK developed games like GTA: san andreas, and it came out the USA first it sucks, but thats life...

A recent job advertisement by Surreal Software confirms that the company's upcoming mystery game is a new IP and not a sequel or remake, as speculated by fans.
"Surreal Software is looking for a top-notch Senior Associate Producer to join our production team," stated the job listing. "The Senior Associate Producer role is an incredibly important position on one of Midway's biggest titles under development. This is new, exciting IP, on a new technology base, with a concept which will blow you away. This is your chance to be the keystone of a large and experienced development team", the advertisement read.
Midway Games, the publisher of the game has not made any public comments on the job listing, and any other details have yet to be released.
