I just noticed the addition of the shop...and what a great feature it is.
well done morph and rebo.
I have one question....before this i remember having around 15000 skill points ...now i only have 2700???? whats up with that????
i have also noticed that everyone else's has also decreased, so i guess i shouldn't be complaining, but can i ask why is that?

you shouldbe cus mine inceased :D . i had near 1000 points with only like 65 posts :P
i think it depends on the lengh of your posts also becuase i usually have long responses so i prolly got more points but i'm not entirly sure
Yes, it does take into account length of your posts, but it does not iclude quotations in the points.

Huh, my almost all my posts (i'd say a good 90% of them) are esays, and by essays i mean a good page of A4 with little quotations.

How did it get started?
Pandemic Studios was founded by the company's president is Josh Resnick and its CEO is Andrew Goldman who both at the time were with Activision. The approached Activision with the vision of an independent development studio to foster creativity and received Activision’s blessing.
In 1998, Pandemic was founded with an equity investment by Activision. Pandemic's first two games, Battlezone II and Dark Reign 2, were both sequels to Activision games.

What does Pandemic typically look for in a new hire?
Pandemic looks for people with passion, creativity and a desire to grow. Currently the Los Angeles studio is seeking engineers with complex/advanced animation experience and designers with extensive game playing experience, a strong understanding of current game technology, and excellent conceptual thinking and communication skills. Creative problem solving and organizational skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment are essential at Pandemic as well.

Recently news is reporting that Mercs2 is no longer a PS3 exclusive. Is this true and why?
To date, only the PS3 version has been announced. There are a lot of speculation and rumors about porting the title to other consoles from fans but nothing else has been confirmed. There is a lot of anticipation for Mercenaries 2 from fans of all consoles alike.
Are there currently any other games in development other than Mercenaries 2?
Pandemic Studios is currently working on Mercenaries 2, Destroy All Humans! 2 and three secret projects (dubbed Projects B, X and Y) that will be determined later on.
What are going to be some of the newest features in Mercenaries 2?
More features will be announced soon, but one of the features that we’re most excited about is the element of fire. It’s a living, breathing entity in Mercs 2 that can be used as a weapon, a barrier and more.
Here’s the full features set:
• Cooperative Multiplayer! Play the main Mercenaries 2 campaign with the help of your friends.
• Play with fire! Ground breaking, general purpose fire technology lets you set fire to buildings, vehicles and people. Shoot holes in the sides of fuel trucks, watch the oil spill under the feet of unsuspecting enemies and light it on fire with a match!
• Travel over/under water! Don’t worry about drowning ever again: use watercraft or swim to traverse the oceans, rivers and lakes of Mercenaries 2.
• Build your own Private Military Company! Increase and customize your support options by recruiting other mercenaries you meet in the game!

The basic storyline and setting is a power-hungry tyrant messes with Venezuela's oil supply, sparking an invasion that turns the country into a warzone. Matthias and his crew from the first Mercenaries is called to Venezuela to get into the action. Which faction they decide to work for is all up to the player.
How many characters will be included to play as? Any background story?
All 3 returning Mercenaries will be playable, as well as a new team member named Eva. More about their background will be released shortly.

After a few emails to Pandemic Studios we finally reached 'a Pandemic Spokesperson' and got some new details on the PS3 and development for Mercenaries 2.
If you have never heard of Pandemic Studios, let me enlighten you. Pandemic Studios started back in 1998 with Josh Resnick (now company president) and Andrew Goldman (who is now CEO).
