Yes its true but you need a good computer it is simple to use and 100% legal if you have a ps2 and the game purchased legally.

Yeah i have tried it before and it worked
but it was terribly slow
I was surprised because i have a gig of ram
and a Pentium D 3.4Ghz Processor with a Geforce 7600 with 256Mb of mem
so you probbally need a core 2 duo processor or equivilant but i havnt tried to know

That's really great to know you two, but you are missing the most important part of the question:
"Where to get it from"
At least give us the emulator name and we'll let our good friend Google take care of the rest.
Thanks.

Heres the emulator I used
http://www.pcsx2.net/
I think there are a few more
If ya find this one confusing you can try goodling PS2 Emulator and research it
It took me a while to acutally getting it to work (plugins, settings, bios and such)
The only thing they dont supply you is the PS2 BIOS
I guess there illegal to post so you are going to have to google it
That also took me a while to find at least i think lol
I think the hardest part is trying all the various plugins and seeing which one actually works with your computer components
Thats bout it
Good luck

O Hope This Helps

Its A Spec Sheet Telling you how the emulator or others will run on your computer based on your processor, RAM, and graphics card
You shouldent expect much from a 2mb program, I'll give it a whirl tho.
I have a 1.8 Duel-core with a 7600GS video card and a 1 gig of ram.
Surly it can run a 333mHz games with 33mb ram. :) (i doubt it)
Edit: You can't use this program without a biso, this is an illegal file.

you wouldnt believe the amount of effort the emu-authors have put into this project.
PCSX2 even though it isnt complete is phenomenal, I find it amazing because the PS2 has some features that make it almost unemulatable (the VU's and 4 MB Embedded DRAM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embedded_DRAM) video memory (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_memory) bandwidth at 48 Gigabit per second (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gigabit_per_second))
Final Fantasy 10 gets between 20-100 fps on my athlon 3700+
Would you care sharing the bios file than please?

I think you will find that is illegal, you can find instructions on how to rip the bios from your own ps2 from www.ngemu.com (http://www.ngemu.com)

Um, you can get the Bios legally from your own PS2. You need something like codebreakers or something to dump it to a flash drive.
Posting/sharing console Bioses are technically illegal, so do NOT post it on this forum.
