I called my mate and told him their had a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen trailer up - he ordered a PS3 immediatly.
i know its a bad update but its an improvement on last weeks
i know i just read about the one below urs but it didnt show all of the stuff though!

Hehe, this weeks update was atleast better then the american one for the first time. I mean, have you seen the trailer for Joust that they got?? I laughed till i cried. "Now with exciting multiplayer blabla..." The game is basically a couple of pixels ontop of an ostrich jumping around. I mean, wtf..
EDIT: Well it seems they got rampage aswell the *******s. oh, well..

The question begs to be asked on a weekly basis right now: hands up those who last week said, 'game sharing is immoral and legally questionable' are suddenly warming up to the idea this week? ;)
Ridge Racer is a great series, especially the music. Its a shame US doesn't have any of the RR7 downloads.

yeah it doesnt matter what Sony does with the PSN everyone will still be bitching and begging for more , if they put every single game ever up there for free ...ppl still would find something to bitch about.

I can't believe it, I was half expecting because the poor americans got a rubbish update, that they were hard at work trying to give us a load of stuff!!

I'd like Calling All Cars, Mortal Kombat etc...it's not fair!, I made an american account up, but because my TV can't support the american 50hz, The demos play in black and white!!! Thats why I need the updates anyway for us UK people!
It is unfair, and Sony DO need to do something about it! Lets all be honest about this.

Yep, a load of crap again! you know what i'd like to see..some new game demo's. one's with at least a multiplayer map on such as CoD 3 or something like that for instance.

Btw I did some conversions, and you guys get Qbert a dollar cheaper than the US store.
It's better than the last few weeks of updates. Hopefully the EU store will keep getting better for you guys, instead of leading you on with a few excellent updates and then some nearly non-existent updates. I dunno which is worse, a bunch of bad ones...or some good ones and then one like we all had this week.

There is and it is called rights & royalties in professional language.. I have tried to explain it a couple of times.. but here we go again. In the US a game is produced by one comapny and normally distributed by one company (Sometime the same)..pretty simple!
If we look at a game in EU it is produced by one company (simple..again) but distributed by 20-25 (or more) different companies each have to agree that their game is released by Sony on the PSN. Then there is different laws that also has to be counted in (some contries does not allow blood and so forth) and finally the product has to be translated because some contries do not understand english.
It is a massive task.. and also one of the reasons why the PS3 was delayed in Europe. Also a reason why games are normally delayed in the EU and why some movies have premiere in the US 6 months prior to the european premiere.
Why do you all have to be so impatient !! I can't believe how many of say this is crap, you sound like spoiled brats !! How is getting FREE stuff being ripped off??
Well it's not a case of being "ripped off", the impatience stems from actually *wanting* to drop some serious dollars on some games but having no idea what they play like. A sensible business strategy for Sony would be to offer demos for EVERYTHING so we can decide if we are going to buy the game or not. Every now and then I will take a punt on a particular title but I refuse to buy a game that I cannot see or try beforehand.
I'm talking about dropping serious money, not 5 bucks on rub-a-dub or some ancient 2d platform game that even a 4-year-old wouldn't care about. It's a very simple business premise, and it works. They should forget about giving us all the cutesy retro downloadables and focus on pushing software out the door. That means demos. Demos, demos and lots of demos. We've got a 60gb hard drive to fill here after all.
Someone else said the same thing - on Day 1, Xbox Live Marketplace had more demo downloads than we do right now. That is disappointing, considering Xbox Live is free too, as you can download "all-you-can-eat" as a Silver member. Both companies (MS & Sony) have the infrastructure to support a top notch free service. It's time we saw it.

Thanks for the info, nice to know what the problem is. Cant understand why Sony dont tells us this. But allso microsoft can get the games/demos out her in Europe so...

i just signed up for american psn account to go with my euro one, we get royally screwed in terms of content compared to US, even in simple game trailers

on XBL they always have trial version of all their arcade titles, try before you buy!

Well the POTC trailer looks great, but I want playable demo's!
By now I thought I would have had more than 2 playable demo's and 2 games downloaded.

If all the games were 2.99 or 4.99 and all you can do is credit with multiples of 10, then you would end up with a few pennies. So when they release a cheap game, they soak up the spare pennies.
I imagine we will see titles at 4.99 and above with the .99 pricing and then see the low cost ones at 2.02 and 3.01
Just a guess and makes sense to me
