Rumors have been starting to circulate around the internet that Weezer is (or will be soon) working on a sixth album. It has already been two years since Make Believe and just recently, two interesting things have occurred.
First, a new website was discovered, http://www.albumsix.com/ It is only a black screen with "albumsix" written on it, but it links directly to http://www.weezer.com/default.asp, the official Weezer website. It was also discovered that albumsix.com was registered by Interscope Records, which is under the same parent company as Geffen (Weezer's record label).
Second, a demo by Rivers Cuomo (Lead singer and guitarist of Weezer) has been leaked onto the internet. It is titled "Pig". To me, it sounds like what "Butterfly" would have been on Make Believe. It could be a new album (since they are under contract for two more), or it could also turn out to be nothing.
I don't know if there are any other Weezer fans on this website, but i thought I'd make this thread just in case. So if you have any comments about a possible sixth album or anything else related to Weezer (even if you think they suck), then feel free to speak your mind about it here.
