i've also heard naruto is amazing but they dont show it sadly, i'm gonna need to download it or BT it.

My friend, he's Asian and he like Naruto. After school he walks so fast that I have to run to keep up with him so he could go home and watch Naruto, has like 150 episodes left. I watched it with the sub titles, some of it's funny by Anime is really not my thing. Not really into cartoons. It's okay though. Naruto is tite. That's the only thing I know lol. I really didn't get it when I went over to his house to watch. He had to explain. :oops:

Ive seena bunch of anime series. Excel saga probably being the Oddest and funniest ive seen.

I like the new Ghost in The Shell series they have out. The stuff they have in the show really does seem like where technology is going. Plus they got guns fighting so its cool.

Im a lazy Gundam fan. Ive seen probably all of the series but ive never bought any of the DVDs or anything. Gundam Wing i think was the best. If anybody sees any Gundam games i suggest playing Zionic front or a couple of the newer games

When i was 13 or 14 i was big into the Dragon Ball Z series. god that show went on forever but it was cool and they still make games for it today which is surprising since the show basicly ended in 1996 but with the english dub release its carried on alot longer.

Cowboy Bebop is probably one of my favorite animes of all time. Its kinda old now (1999) But its still great. It had some sad moments that made you think but what a ride it was. I wish they still made the series.

Trigun sits right beside CB on my greatest anime scale. I liked the story with the old west and the guns but i also liked how it had some very funny moments. Vash was kind of a hero who didnt want to be a hero.

Ive seen probably 150 episodes of InuYasha. Ive been lazy and i havent downloaded the new ones from japan in ages. They are probably up to episode 200 by now.

I miss alot of anime shows. If you know some that are pretty good let me know. Ill get around to downloading them someday. :lol:

yea, i used to watch dbz too but with gt, its getting pretty repeditive and kinda dumb. meaning the strongest guy shows up, u get srtonger and kill him. then another even stronger guy comes, u get stronger and kill him too, then....

The Simpsons isn't an anime. And I think DBZ is more a cartoon in comparison to today's standards, but it's still an anime, nonetheless. I can't, and never have been able to get into any DB animations. It's just too corny for me. But that's why we have our own "opinions"...and all that good stuff.

i agree, it is a lil corny but i started watching it when i was younger so i brought into the cornyness and then i kinda stuck with it.

as for real anime, i would love to see others but i cant really. unless i downlaod gigs after gigs of different anime's seeing which oens i like, theres no real other way to find out.

Well, actually the only bad series of the dragonball saga was the 2nd and especially the third....the first showed him growing up which was an awesome first season/series...but anyway I like anime like
CHRONO CRUSADE, YOU HAVE TO GET THAT! :D It's about demons and demons and heaven and how a demon who is so nice that interacts with a nun with a gun...

Man...I love that show, you guys watch those 'toonami, adult swim stuff' the toonami stuff is stupid to me...they usually have the bad dubs like that card show duel masters? whatever it's stupid though... adult swim has some good shows like inuyasha...

but I think that those who like anime should have to actually buy it to see the true anime vision some of us have :lol:

I agree. I cant watch the ending to that show. makes me feel miserable. I did get to see the Cowboy Bebop movie in the movie theatre though. That was a treat and made me feel better that maybe Spike was still nabbing bad guys for bounty but then i found out that it takes place between episode 20 and 23 :(

Have any of you seen Princess Mononoke? It's pretty freakin' cool [well...sometimes, at least]. There's a chase scene with this hog demon that's covered in thousands of worms, and the level of detail is simply stunning [it was all drawn by hand]. One good thing to remember is not to judge an anime by its cheesy name ;)

Well...not recently. I've always loved "Furi Kuri," but was sad that it only ran for 6 episodes. When they started showing it on Adult Swim, I got very excited. It's very unique, and VERY bizarre. :shock: I don't really like what they've been showing on Adult Swim recently. Super-Milk Chan? I don't even know where to begin with that. Wolf's Rain is ok, but it doesn't really start picking up until the end.

should watch Ghost in the Shell and Full Metal Alchemist on adult swim satrudays. i seen full metal on a sub way before but i like the dubb, its not too bad actually.
If you havent seen the movie Ghost in The shell you might be a little lost with the show but its good and will probably encourage you to watch the movie

I don't watch things like Ghost in the Shell: SAC on TV. I own the full series on DVD . They cut about half of everything out on Adult Swim. All the nudity and extreme violence...all cut out [and they have to fit it all in a 30 minute timeframe with commercials]. Tis a shame ;) I've been a fan of [i]Ghost in the Shell for a while now, and I've watched the new one WAY before it debuted on Adult Swim. EDITED = CRAP.

Full Metal Alchemist is somewhat interesting. I'm started to get into it a bit, but it's a little strange.

Thank god. I have found a place where I can fit in. I have watched anime for about 6 years now, and I can truly say that it is one of the best things to happen to me. I am sorry that lots of you have just experienced that stuff that CN puts on. I have seen all of Cowboy Bebop, FlCl, Fruits Basket, Trigun, Witch Hunter Robin, and countless others. I watched those before any of the anime fans who got started by Adult Swim came in to existence.

Anyone here actually seen Witch Hunter Robin? A+ Anime, very good indeed but u could to give it a bit of time at the start cause the plot is not revealed that early it develpos a bit later on ... still a very good anime ...

It's about a witch her name Robin which is a good witch and works for something liek a wtich hunter group capturing other witches(both male and females) now robin is gifted with a special and rare talent, she is a craft user ...

Only do they find out in the later rather than the former that they have working for a killa organisation and so on ...

She gets betrayed by the organisattion and now is being hunted by other witch hunters, pretty much her own team ...

she then goes on to find out about the Salem sisters and about there innocence ... how they were so innocently put to the burning stake, reason being accusesed as witches ...

she then goes on and as she taps into her power more, she becomes more powerfull and accurate ...

very good anime indeed :D

i kinda remember, first, u need to revisit every temple including the yojimbo one( i think) and active them again or just go throught them and do everything.....oh wait, no ..well kinda


NEW START
go back to every temple and u must get the dewscturction sphere and gett he hidden prize with the descrtuction sphere in every temple. then go back to rajj temple and touch the 6 gylps thingys. the rajj temple or w/e its name is is a secet temple and u need to longitude/latitude thingy for it, u can find that on any cheat site, i like ign. so once u get all the desctruction sphere prizes go to that temple and u'll get anime, but b4 u get inside the temple, u fight a familiar boss in the water(u see him in the very beggining). u have to use wakka and riku and tidus so make just be prepared, i never used rikku or wakka but i pumped up tidus so high that he killed the boss easy, if u can, put on anti-stone armor, cus he turns u to stone and u instantly die, no chance of comming back to life. also if u have blitz ace, its an easy battle.

WHR is very slow moving action-wise for me. Seems as if there's 25 minutes of people talking and trying to figure out who did what, followed by 5 minutes of them finally figuring out who it was, and then some action ensues. I don't like the style of it very much, either. It just doesn't do anything for me, IMO.

but when i got to the part where i fight sin on cids ship the last time, i stopped and did soem training (the WHOLE omnster arena quest) and i also got my best weapons customizations, 1 MP cost+quickhit(best) and break dmg limit and break hp limit.


i dunno wat to tell u, try to get 1 mp cost and quick hit them b4 they attack u

Haha. Your having a laugh. The dark Aeons are the thoughest characters in the game along with the Creme de la Creme of the monster ranch. I'd like to see anyone who can beat a dark aeon without casting Yojimbo's Zanmato. Anyway - If you don't believe me check ou these short descriptions.

Location: From the North End of Mi'ihen Highroad, go north to Mushroom Rock.
You'll see 2 summoners there, approach them.

You can run from them and beat them one by one. But lets assume you got
caught by all 3.

The most important thing to remember here is that they start with a full
overdrive gauge. First cast Hastega then Auto-Life on your party. After
that summon an aeon at overdrive immediately, preferably Anima and have him
do Oblivion and at the same time save you from Delta Attack. Now, pummel
Mindy with your character overdrives (Blitz Ace and a perfect 2-Hit Attack
Reels) to get rid of her quickly and prevent further Delta Attacks. Once
one of them is gone, the two left will do Mega-Graviton when their
overdrive gauges are full. Make sure all your party members ALWAYS have
Auto-Life, since its hard to predict what they will do next.

If it so happened that you got tired of killing each one of them manually,
just grand summon Yojimbo and pay him lots of gil (I paid him 1.7 million)
and hope that he'll do Zanmato to kill one of them instantly.

The dark aeons are inredibly easy, I don't know what you guys are smoking ;) It doesn't matter how much damage you can dish out, there's always a character with an extreme amount of defense that make even your most powerful attacks look like petty nothingness. Actually, the hardest creature to defeat in the entire game is in the Monster Arena. You have to beat every single creature from every single area in the entire game and defeat them in the Arena [including the custom ones]. Once you have accomplished that, there's a new creature made in the Arena that requires all of your characters to be maxed out. I had to fill up the sphere grid twice [which can only be done with a "Clear Sphere"] in order to beat him [Omega Weapon 2]. You get something very incredible if you win [I can't tell you what that is ;)].

I don't know about you guys and the dark aeons, but when I was battling them, none of my characters were able to die. They all had halos around their head. Strange...I must have acquired something along the way without realizing it.

Honestly? Around 200 hours. I had Yuna hitting at 99,999 HP no matter what character she was fighting [by hitting I mean the tiny staff she's carrying when she runs over to the character and bops them on the head or whatever...real girly-like].

I'll have to check it out then. I'll take your word for it. I still think that Furi Kuri [Fooly Cooly] is a superb anime, with a very unique style to it. It's extremely funny, but a bit too random for some people's tastes. There's only 6 episodes though, but if you haven't seen it yet, it's a must.

It's no secret that Sony has been to marketing the PlayStation 3 as a multi-purpose machine and not hard to dodge jokes that it can do everything from playing movies to curing cancer. And judging from a deal Sony has just signed, the PlayStation 3 may just do that.

According to an IGN report, Sony has signed a partnership with the Folding@home distributed computing project which will allow the development of a client to “allow idle Cell Processors to turn their considerable computational power from crunching the polygons that makeup curvaceous videogame breasts to crunching the math of folding proteins hold the secret to curing cancer”. And instead of purchasing surper-computers which run on the Cell, Folding@home will be using 10,000 PlayStation 3s.

According to the IGN article, “The Cell Processor is expected to perform calculations for Folding@home on the scale of 100 gigaflops”, which translates to a quadrillion floating point operations a second- “enough so that project leaders are now considering expanding their simulations to study Alzheimer's and Huntington's Diseases and other forms of cancer.”

It is still unclear when the client will be developed and when Folding@home will be getting their 10,000 units.

Besides being a possible key to finding a cure to cancer, the PlayStation 3 is also Sony's contender in the next-gen console war, and will be launched this November 17th.

I mean, I just burned everything Slayers and Ranma 1/2 Season 7 off my computer last night just for room. I have well over 100 full dvds of anime in my binder, and I have a butt load more on my computer. Basically, I download too much.

Adult Swim is the best! Trinity Blood and Belach are really getting good right now and going to own later on from what I've heard. AZN is also another channel that plays anime like the Record of Lodoress wars and the Patlabor movies.
EDIT: FF unlimited is an actual anime but based the the SE brand.

Other than that I regularly watch Naruto and Bleach.

Recently seen Appleseed and "something blue" as feature films - both were pretty good.

I cannot stand Dragon Ball Z. I would definitely class it as a cartoon.

Furi Kuri all the way for me. I loved it when it first aired on Adult Swim, but was quickly saddened when there was only 6 eps.

Another one I like, I honestly don't know the name, but it's called Detective Conan or something like that. It aired on Adult Swim like a year ago at maybe 1-2 in the morning. Loved that one too.

Its hard to view those torrents since not everyone has DSL any way and a lot of people are to lazy (myself included) to download torrents and such. Youtube is great on catching up on series but I haven't seen the Japanese version of Bleach yet. However I do know how bad Naruto, Onepiece, and Eureka Seven are in English.:suspect:

Using bittorent is pretty awful actually IHMO. I prefer geting mine directly from the source via irc channels :). No waiting for peers, and I usually get max speeds and everything. I say if your willing, try to learn how to get stuff from IRC. IRC is faster and is more efficent. The only downisde is that you have you to use an external databse like anidb(prefreably) to know what group is doing what, to keep updated and organized.
