Hey, alot of you have probably already seen this site, but it's great for Super Smash Bros Brawl Info. It has updates on new characters and stages, etc...
Btw, it says that SSBB will be playable with 4 different controller setups; Gamecube, Classic Controller, Wii-mote, Wii-mote and Numchuck.
Man, this game really does look amazing.

Nintendo made a comment that aside from Snake, there would be 2-3(?) other 3rd party characters. Any idea\guesses on who?
Personally I'd love to see Grayfox (MGS) or Sonic (Duh) in there... Actually wait, I'd rather have Knuckles in there, I prefer him over Sonic (KNux is da man!)
Chaos Emerald FTW!

Yeah Sonc would be cool but he was originally for the SEGA. I thought they only put Nintendo original characters in the game? And yes Metal Gear Solid was out first on the SNES.

The rules were ANY character that has ever appeared on a nintendo console.
I mean Turok and Duke Nuken are technically "Eligible". Even though Duke, was a PC guy first ( I think)

You mean first out on the MSX. Yes, The Metal Gear series originally debuted on a Microsoft console exclusively in Japan! Not to mention that Metal Gear: Solid Snake first appeared on the MSX 2!

It may have been MS led but other people made the machines, like SONY (of all people, this is such an irony)

I want Bob Saget to be in the game. He would kick some ass with a microphone, a que card, and a can of lysol.

Damn that was pretty stupid of me. I think i put the link, but then changed what i'd written and deleted it without noticing.
Anyway it's up at the top now. It pretty much updates one new fact every day.
Today's is the character Bio of samus.
I advise people to look up Yoshi's Island in 'Stages' though. I love the graphical style of it.
This game really does look to me like the best thing coming out this year, on any console.
For people to lazt to go back up to the top of the page, here's the link again: http://www.smashbros.com/

..yea.. This is the only game, the ONE reason I am sorry for not owning a Wii. You heard it here first gents, hardcore PS3 fan Vulgotha admits it.
He then goes and promptly assumes the fetal position at his house and weeps profusely.

I personally don't understand the big fuss about SSB. It's a fighting game. It's a button masher. So what?

Yea same here... I mean how can you downplay Super Smash Bros? It was a huge hit for the N64, and even bigger hit for the Gamecube as Melee, and its bound to be the best yet for the Wii... So long as it uses traditional controls.
I've heard it can use all of the different controllers.

The only bit of news from Nintendo that I've seen states that either the GameCube controller or the Classic Controller expansion for the Wii remote can be used. Then again, I haven't been paying much attention to it recently. I don't want hype to spoil the game for me.

The only reason currently I would get a Wii, First party exclusives, in my opinion third party on Nintendo blows, but 1st party rock the casba :D
And after how amazed I was with Melee, I can't wait for brawl :D

When I think of Nintendo, I don't normally think of "Mortal Kombat clones."

You can use a GameCube pad, a Wiimote on its side, a Wiimote and Nunchuck or the Classic controller. I know what you mean about overhype I should just watch it at E3 then wait for it to come out.

If that is true, the only one I will use is the Gamecube controller, lol. The Wiimote sucks for games like this..

It was manufactured by many people, though the person that leads the project generally is the one that "rules" over it. Thus MG was originally on a "Microsoft system."

Woh!!
Andrew B, how much have you actually played this game? If you think it's anything like mortal combat, sould calibur, tekken, or any other fighting game, then i advise you to play it more.
I personally have a pretty big dislike of those sort of games. I find most of the gameplay comes down to remebering pointless button combos, when alot of the time the way to win is to just do the same move over and over again.
However, SSBM is nothing like that. I know it seems like it, but in many ways it's more like a platformer battle game. It really is such a good game, and with practire you can get extremely skillful at it. Seriously, if you like nintendo games, then give it a second chance, you won't regret it.
