Well I hope we see you more often than never. I don't think your age has anything to with not getting the name you want. But I'm sorry to hear of your troubles.

While the announcement of a delay for PAL territories have disappointed gamers, Sony Computer Entertainment of America was eager to see a brighter side, and noted the positives for their territory.

PlayStation brand creator, Ken Kutaragi himself announced that the North American market would be getting 400,00 units at launch, and while the number is 600,000 units shy of what game retailers such as GameStop have been hoping for, it's “just below what we had available at launch for PS2 and is higher than what Microsoft had for Xbox 360,” said a Sony spokesperson.

Karraker also revealed that Sony will have shipped about 1 million to 1.2 million units to North America by the end of this year- more than twice the number of Xbox 360s that were sold at the same time last year.

The Christmas season is a busy time for retailers, and the PlayStation 3's supply has been the focus of both sellers and gamers alike.

The PlayStation 3 will be launching as schedule in the North American market, on November 17th. The delay applies to all PAL territories, which includes the likes of Europe, Africa, Australia and parts of Asia. Although Sony has announced a launch window of March 2007 for those regions, an exact launch date remains unknown.
