Who here uses D-Link routers and what do you think?
Are they meant for gaming?
i'm still deciding which router to get between d-link and linksys. I find that d-link are much cheaper and more variety to chose from. But is D-link better and reliable brand than Linksys?
whats the best D-Link router for my ps3 that is priced under $100CDN?

In my experiences with d-link routers they all have been absolute junk. They time out alot and disconnect. I had 2 and both of them needed to be reset daily. Garbage. Safe yourself some hassle and get a linksys.

Can't speak for D-Link but I have Linksys router that I have been using problem free since winter of last year.
I have a D-Link DI-704P. It's really old, can't even remember when we got this thing, but it works fine. I never understood routers or how to configure them. so I just plugged it into the wall, plugged in my internet, got 2 ether-net cables, 1 to my PC, and 1 to my PS3. Haven't had a single problem yet and it's been on for a good 3 months. Played warhawk for the whole beta with out a single connection problem, same with RFoM.

I have D-Link DI-524 wireless router for about 6 months by now. So far, I had no problems with it, set up was easy, security options are very good, and the connection is stable.
One thing I noticed, however, D-link USB WLAN adapter are not that good. They often drop the connection. I have two laptops, one with internal WLAN adapter and the other one is with D-Link USB WLAN adapter. The laptop with internal WLAN works like a charm, but the other one drops connection every now and then (not often though)

I have a D-Link DI-604 connected to a Linksys WRT54G router. The D-Link has never failed, the Linksys on the other hand disconnects from the internet atleast twice a week :(
