Yes, I don't think they're selling any more kits in North America. I guess it didn't really catch on fast enough. Maybe if they promoted it a little better, more people would have become more interested in it. Oh well...

There were pretty many poeple that were interested, but no one were interested enough to take it in their own hands to import one or order one, everybody just wanted it to be sold in Stores.
You can try Ebay, there sure to have some... if not in the countery then other places as well..

like a year away, but i tried ebay, they had nothing except linux/windows/ps2 mouse adapters!
James... sorry to dash your dreams, but if eBay doesn't have it, then there probably isn't another place that will have it. However, check out Amazon, or possibly even EB or other game stores, they just "might" have a used one ;).
EA announces "Skate" for PS3
By: Justin Pinter
Being developed by the Vancouver branch of EA, "Skate" will be their first attempt at a skateboarding franchise. Sourced from upcoming PSM Magazine, "Skate" is set to release sometime in 2007 and will bring the "true spirit and soul of the sport."
Now looking to rival already popular Tony Hawk series from Neversoft, EA is aiming towards bringing the realism of skateboarding to their game by utilizing an unique control scheme that uses both of the PS3's analog sticks. The entire game will be ruled by physics and the law of gravity which means you must perfect your angles, speed, and control to perform your tricks.
Other features that EA has talked about are "skate video", which allows you to replay tricks and watch them from all different angels. Also you will be able to fully customize a new character or choose from 14 already signed skaters that are to appear in "Skate."
More info will be revealed later but as of now "Skate" is a PS3 only title and has yet to be announced for Xbox 360 and Wii.
