15:58 According to Hideo Kojima, the man behind the mighty Metal Gear series, the Nintendo Revolution "will be popular with girls". Unfortunately, he then completely failed to elaborate on the statement, so we're slightly unsure if he knows something we don't know. Chances are though, he does. After all, he's practically a trained mercenary now.

However, in a transcript printed in the latest edition of Japanese mag Famitsu, Kojima-san did explain why he's fallen so totally head over heels with Nintendo's next-gen machine. Apparently, he wants to create games that are "based on life, something organic" to bring his craft closer to that of movie directors and novelists. It seems Kojima-san feels the Revolution is the machine that's going to finally enable him to do that.

While we know that the Metal Gear man and his development team is hard at work on a new Revolution title, no specific details have yet been forthcoming. However, whatever Kojima-san's cooking up, it's starting to sound like he has big plans for Nintendo's mysterious machine.
Well, my gf loves DDR, Donkey Kong Pongo or whatever it was, Buzz, Eyetoy etc. but she was turned off by Revolution controller.

Probably because girls haven't picked up on videogaming as well as men have. The Revolution controller puts everyone on the same page when it comes to gaming. Heck, I've been gaming since the 80s and I'll still be a noob with the Rev since it is so different.

When your girlfriend beats you in Street Fighter she will feel like Moses leading her people out of Egypt. haha

All my friends that are girls like the Gamecube. They say the PS2 is good, but they don't like the Controller. All of them are obsessed with that Resident Evil 0, and Donkey Konga thing.

My GF is 20, I bought Donkey Konga back when it first came out. And she LOVED it! I'm planning on buying here a Revolution when it comes out. She hasn't had a gaming system, besides an original GB (her parents are agaisn't video games). So I think she'll be really excited to play this.

Mine plays more games than I do. Our Japanese PS2 and Xbox360 as well as our coming Japanese PS3 all hers. She is currently playing Super Robot Wars Alpha3, but also enjoys playing games like DDR and Amped. She really likes some of the new Xbox Live Arcade games (though I am the larger addict for those), and loves watching me and a couple friends play Halo or Perfect Dark.
