15:58 According to Hideo Kojima, the man behind the mighty Metal Gear series, the Nintendo Revolution "will be popular with girls". Unfortunately, he then completely failed to elaborate on the statement, so we're slightly unsure if he knows something we don't know. Chances are though, he does. After all, he's practically a trained mercenary now.
However, in a transcript printed in the latest edition of Japanese mag Famitsu, Kojima-san did explain why he's fallen so totally head over heels with Nintendo's next-gen machine. Apparently, he wants to create games that are "based on life, something organic" to bring his craft closer to that of movie directors and novelists. It seems Kojima-san feels the Revolution is the machine that's going to finally enable him to do that.
While we know that the Metal Gear man and his development team is hard at work on a new Revolution title, no specific details have yet been forthcoming. However, whatever Kojima-san's cooking up, it's starting to sound like he has big plans for Nintendo's mysterious machine.
Well, my gf loves DDR, Donkey Kong Pongo or whatever it was, Buzz, Eyetoy etc. but she was turned off by Revolution controller.
