lol, thats a freaking amazing video, but I can bet some PS3 fans will come here and say they've seen better on the PS2 or Xbox already. If so, before a single one of you says that, you'd better prove it in your original post, or else I'm just going to ignore you as an ignorant flamer.

just delete this post then?

Only the admins/mods can once someone posts after the initial post, unless, I then you, then whoever before that deletes their posts so that there's only one post left which is the topic creator's. Anyway, don't mind me, I'm just rambling.

I dont think this game looks all that great. My guess is that it hits stores a sleeper dud and now one buys it. I think it will out shadowed by enchant arm and Oblivion and Lost Oddessy.

Its there for a certain group, and at least some people will like it. At least this time you see a larger diversity in the kinds of RPG's Microsoft is getting. Last time it was pretty much all Western-style RPG's such as those created by BioWare and Bethesda. This time we are getting those same great developers along with great Japanese-style RPG developers. If one isn't an all around hit, it can at least be a hit for a small group.

God I can't wait for Mass Effect.

BioWare=Unr3stricted's favorite developer.

Here are some super short yet high-quality movies of the new Blue Dragon Japanese commercials...

I really like what I've seen so far! I hope the gameplay is more action then turn-based, although I've enjoyed both types.

Was Hironobu in those commercials? Who was the other guy? Anyway, they're playin' it smart, they're makin' sure that the Japanese know that those masterminds are working on those RPGs. I'm guessing the other is Akira or Nobuo, don't know though.

I watched the trailer and I have to say that I really did like it, even thought I'm big Toriyama-style hater. I liked the characters there (except that boy who comes after hero in white plain field), that shadow-thing looks promising (hero isn't only one who has it) and water was amazing. I like atomsphere too. I will definitely look for this one.

Here is update on Blue Dragon for xbox360.

Another week, another tiny update on Blue Dragon in the latest Famitsu. This week, we've got a few new details on shadows and airships.

We now know the identity of one of the airships that was shown in the recent Jump Festival trailer: the Mechat. Both the Jump trailer and Famitsu shows the same small Mechat, perfect for a crew consisting of Shu, Zora and the rest of the main cast. The Mechats are remnants of an ancient culture that were found here and there throughout the world and put to use by modern people.
Airships will have a big part in the game. As you play, you'll encounter many types of Mechats, These can be used not just for movement, but also as part of air battles. There's also been some talk of other vehicles besides the Mechat featuring in the game. Character designer Akira Toriyama himself designed the ships, with his work then converted to a 3D model for use in the game.

In addition to the airship, Famitsu provides first details on a second shadow. The main character Shu has a dragon shadow. Zora, a twenty-year-old adventurer who accompanies Shu on his quest, has a shadow named Killer Bat. Artwork shown in the magazine reveal a large, fierce bat-like creature. Producer Hironobu Sakaguchi chose a bat because of Zora's loneliness and dark past.

As we've previously touched upon, shadows are a central element in Blue Dragon. Each of the five heroes has a particular shadow (Shu is the only one with an actual blue-colored dragon) who emerges from the character during battle. The emergence of the shadow in beast form from the character's standard human-like shadow is called the Shadow Change System.

Mistwalker seems happy releasing details on Blue Dragon in tiny bits, but judging by the Jump Festival trailer, it's all building up to something big. Blue Dragon is expected to release before Lost Odyssey, and with a demo of Lost Odyssey due out in Japan between Spring and Summer, we presume a playable version of Blue Dragon can't be too far behind.

Blue Dragon is a video game in the RPG genre for the Xbox 360 console. The young lad - called Shu - can use his dragon friend to engage in combat with his enemies and do things he's too weak to even imagine. Using these powers he must embark on a quest with his friends to save the world.

Other known characters are named Kurukku, Jiro, Zora, and Marumaro.

The game looks fun, there are some nice games for the Xbox 360 and I will diffenently consider getting one after I do the PS3 (money is the biggest problem). I bought all 3 systems this gen and I will like end up with all 3 again and the more games on each system the better.

The only reason why anyone would say blue dragons graphics arn't that great is because they don't understand its going for a Dragon Ball, Dragon Quest look.

although I for one, will never touch this game, so. I'm never going to enjoy it myself.

Tomorrow, June 24, the PlayStation Network will see some downtime in order for maintenance to be done. The downtime will occur from 10 AM to 4 PM CST (4 PM to 10 PM GMT). During this period, you will not be able to access the store or play any titles online.

With Firmware 2.4 just around the bend, this could potentially have something to do with that update. We'll see in due time.
