View Full Version : USB headset for PS2 & PS3
Hey, guys, I've been pretty pissed off while using bluetooth headset for online gaming for PS2 and PS3 so I've decided to look into buying a USB headset instead as I've heard that they're much better and you don't have to worry about it not being connected 1 minute and then not while playing the game.
So can any of you that already own one, recommend any specific kinds? I'd really appreciate it if you can help me out here.

you should try the Motorola H500 as a bluetooth. But anywho, the ps2 usb headset works for the ps3, so you can go buy that on ebay or any gaming store.

yes i've got the ps2 headset and i've had no problems, bluetooth headsets dont seem that reliable to me..the ps2 logitech i've got

Actually that is the one that I have but I connect it and everything is cool at first when I do the setup on the XMB but let's say that when I turn the game on and try to loging to online play for example, R6V, it doesn't show that I have it on and I can hear that I'm not getting anything.
It works good with Resistance sometimes and some other games but it varies. So I'm just fedup with it and am looking into the USB one instead.

this is the headset I have used for a long time playing socom 2 and beyond
It is not the greatest quality as I have gone through at least 5 of them

I just use the ps2 Logitech headset (the one with the mute button). It has worked well for me on both ps2 and ps3.
Which one is the eye toy? I remember hearing about it but can't actually recollect...

Use the ps2 Logitech USB Headset it works like a charm.

I use the USB mic for tekken and Grid and it works beautifully. Just go to your setting in the menu and remember to change it to USB.
