According to Playfuls, the Nintendo Revolution has gone gold. From the article: "According to gamemag.ru, who is citing Inside Gamer, it seems that Nintendo Revolution’s configuration is complete and the device is ready for mass production... Since the release date for the Revolution is in May, that gives the Japanese manufacturers 5 months in order to manufacture enough consoles."

A May Japanese launch has yet to be revealed by the Big N. Furthermore, it is rumored that the Revolution will be manufactured in China not Japan, and the console doesn't even have an official name. While possible, strike this one up as highly unlikely.

To be honest, I think it can happen. Nintendo didn't have to spend a lot of time building an insanely powerful Cpu or a GPU basically just upgraded the gamecube. They don't need as much time to develop their console as Sony or MS needed. My guess is they are going to have a worldwide launch, but actually have enough console to do it.

Now lets just see some games in action.

I know, Nintendo really needs to show some games. Because I'm really not that excited anymore. I want to see a New Mario, Zelda, Metroid. Or Rogue Squardron, or Resident Evil, or a Killer 7 sequel. Killer 7 is one of my favorite games, and I want to see it running on the Revolution.

No screens, rumors or anything like that and there supposed to be ready for mass production? It looks like Nintendo may be planning a "surprise launch". (Sony and Microsoft wouldn't even know what hit them).

Honestly though, I say that the Revolution's controller is the most next-gen piece of hardware on their console so if all the bugs in the controller are ironed out then I don't see why Nintendo wouldn't be ready for mass production.

Honestly I think Nintiendo and Sony both has something under their hands, which make MS so nevervous. You dont know what they making, you dont know when they giong release and you dont even know what is going on. MS just want to rush out the system since they dont know what both company doing and they are afraid to lose.

Furthermore, it is rumoured that the Revolution will be manufactured in China not Japan,

If this is true than could it be possible to produce the revolution system much cheaper than if they where going to make it in Japan?

I do not see why it could not be possible for Nintendo to release there system around may. Especially when they are going for a Japanese launch first. Nintendo is keeping a low profile and give us little information bit by bit. I wonder what more surprises they got up there sleeves. However it would be probably a good idea for them to release some more info soon. If it takes any longer people might look the other way.

I think they should make a mystery out of it that's unravelling as we near the launch date, just like MS did with ILOVEBEES and the Colonies.

Namco Bandai has confirmed that it will not be releasing a demo of Soul Calibur IV until after the game’s release.

According to company representatives at this week’s E3 convention, the developer is currently pooling all resources into getting the finished product ready for its hotly anticipated release on July 29.

As for when gamers could expect the demo, Namco wouldn’t go into any details; simply stating it would be made available sometime "down the road."
