tomorrow will be a rotten day for me, im probably the only person with a 360 thats not a fan of halo. To me the best shooter on the 360 is rainbow six Vegas.with everyone and their pet monkey's getting halo tomorrow i can image that the RB6V servers will probably be empty and this pisses me off .
so today im going all out i have been playing all day still playing while posting between rounds, is there anyone that will continue to play Vegas.

Just get Halo 3 and have fun with it. R6:V kinda killed the series for me anyway.

It was too different from the previous games in the series, which i thought were 10x better than vegas.
True gamers are about accepting what you like, it doesn't matter what all the halo fans play, there will still be some who aren't on that game, like me.
Call of Duty 4 is the best shooter I've ever played, and I'm sticking to it.

I really enjoyed Vegas, but yes, it will suffer now that Halo 3 is out. Just as the COD beta will suffer and all other MP games on the 360.

So True, i lost interest in RS3 and moved to ghost recon.
Im going to buy Halo3, why? I like the story. Multiplayer in Halo can be fun but I am more into thinking multiplayer games not the blind run jump N gun. Halo3 multiplayer needs a peek or cover, expanding reticles and the ability to get a one bullet headshot kill with every weapon to turn me away from R6V.

Halo multi-player has never kept my interest, I'll be moving on to COD4 or Battlefield when they release. Never really got into r6 online.
Tool... don't worry my friend. There are way too many Rainbow 6 360 fans out there that will keep playing the game. Yes it will take a hit and many will leave, but you should be able to continue playing online with no problems.

I agree somewhat. I think every game that has online multiplayer will suffer because of Halo.
Makes you wonder if Madden 08's online population will be significantly quieter.
I'm also in agreement that all MP games will suffer. Halo is ridiculously popular. Hell, even I like it and that's saying alot. I wouldn't worry too much about it though. Halo isn't for everyone so you should still be able to find matches in R6V.

But somthing to take note of: Most of the players on R6 are very elitist and believe themselves to be "Above" Halo.
..frankly I think its simply because Halo is too fast paced and requires knee jerk thinking and reflexes, whilst these kids are better at slow tactical realistic ops (Which Halo isn't). But to diss a game simply because they're not up to task is a bit immature. (This is my impression of all those I've played with on Vegas, and talk about Halo very condescendingly)

well i prefer rainbow 6, i don't think im an elitist or anything but i do prefer the realistic shooter over the fantasy unrealistic make believe like quake or for example halo. its not that im above it or anything its just when you kill someone in rb6v its extremely realistic and satisfying. rb6v might be slow paced but it takes razor sharp wits and quick reaction to survive against the pros. i have tried halo its not a bad game its just not for me,

Man vegas kicks ass on PS3 and 360, it wont die for some time. The online can be a little better but its by far one of the best shooters ive played in a while. It wont die, it might be quiet tomorrow but after that it will pick up again. Just let the halo rush go by, players will return.
