CVG isn't altogether unreliable so there might be merit here, and it would make sense that MS was trying to dig into a market that has generally been ignored so far. From a release stand point, getting THAT far ahead of Sony in Europe would be a huge move for MS and could very easily even the tables.

I suppose that MS would get the controlling hand if they could do this in the commonly accepted timeframe.

First Pictures of PS3 Remote and PS2 Card Adapter Revealed

Two new screenshots were released on the internet, one of the new PlayStation 3 remote, and much anticipated PS2 card reader.

It appears the new card adapter will connect via USB, while the remote will connect to the PS3 through Bluetooth. It is unknown whether the remote will feature an IR sensor for other home theatre electronics.
