In a press conference in Tokyo recently, Nintendo head Satoru Iwata confirmed that the next console will be titled 'Revolution', and, like the DS handheld device, promises to innovate in the field of entertainment. The 'new ideas' hinted at are not mentioned - Iwata fearing other manufacturers may steal their plans, however he did also reveal that the Revolution console will be far more than upgraded GameCube.
"What we need is not a next-generation machine but a next-generation way of playing games," Iwata commented. Iwata's words come just a day after European Nintendo head Dave Gosen slammed Microsoft for driving the industry towards new hardware too early, stating that the industry's cyclical nature is damaging and inflexible. The headline grabbing violence of GTA, the media's fascination with future hardware and ridiculously cheap game bundles also came under fire.

Well that workup is very good, and it was nice of them to include the concept art with it, but i doubt it is real. If nintendo had a press confrence it would be big news, and this site claims that that is what happened.

The styling could work, but im not a huge fan, just looks too normal and understated. Also, there is nothing revolutionary looking about it.

I do like the logo they did though, shows a circal, something that will probably be in the design ("revolution = wheel") and it has a nice overall look. Colors could use some work, but overall nicely done.

Definitely rumour and not fact though. Would have been on major news by now other than this one site.

That article came from the same place. The source that they put at the bottom is the article that busta put up, so mxemu is still the only site to have claimed this as a leak. Of course MAYBE they got something from an insider, but im willing to bet that nintendo insiders go to more obvious and bigger name sources than this.
