Okay, here's the deal. Several months ago, I decided to get a new graphics card. Unfortunately, I got tired of gaming and stored the computer away in my closet over most of the summer. I started back up again, only to find that my graphics card was worse than before. The textures were terrible, and it got choppy in some areas, when it didn't before.
It's still the same, although a LITTLE better after I fooled around with the settings. I want to play my Counter Strike game where all of the characters are smoothed out, not rough-edged and pointy. O_O;;
I defragged my hard drive. I am thinking of installing a brand new copy of Windows and everything. I even installed a new 512 stick of RAM, and that only increased the FPS marginally. Any help would be appreciated.
