    Thanks for the words Black Wolf. I guess it is more my wife doesn't want a litter box or responsibility anymore, on top of the pain of losing one. That is ok, maybe one day down the road. I am NOT a police officer, but I was a Military Police Officer in the United States Army. I am no longer in the Army though. Just a veteran.

    Hi, I was just responding to what you said in the chat.

    It's okay to feel that way and if you change your mind about getting another pet, then know your previous ones will always be in your heart. You're not replacing them if you get another cat or dog, just like if you have one or more kids you're not replacing your first.

    I love animals and pets. If I ever get through with college, I will get me a german shepherd.
