@rexdeath- I would assume the people who have already played the game are fans of the series. This demo is for people who thought about playing the game but didn't for whatever reason. Holidays are coming up also. So, perfect time to stimulate sales by releasing a demo to the masses.

i don't know..giving us a demo of a game months old sounds like a desperate move and kind of insulting and egotistical. Everyone who wanted MGS4 has it. Nice try on trying to keep it in the news though....and if your looking for a great MULTI ..go elswhere because you'll be disappointed in MGO. peace : )

"Sure, some of the content costs money to download, but who are you kidding? SackBoy is worth the admission price, right?"
Not for a single, digital T-shirt, no. Rare or not, that's a total rip-off, especially when I think back to what Criterion has given us FREE for Burnout Paradise.
And before anyone calls me "cheap", I've bought more than enough content for games fromPSN, and generally speaking, I'm not against paying for extra content, it just has to be reasonable and sensibly priced.
I'm just a little alarmed at the way the DLC trend is heading. Increasingly we're seeing tiny bits of content at inflated prices. £4 to £5 should be buying you whole new levels, not just single items of digital clothing.

I agree - week 1 t-shirt should be free as a reward for getting the game straight away. In fact the store I pre-ordered my game from gave me a REAL sackboy t-shirt for free!
With Quest for Booty only costing £10, then £4 for a virtual t-shirt is steep to say the least.
