That means you received +rep. There is a glitch that shows you have a PM when you actually do not. Sometimes you really do have a message, other times it is just +rep you received.

This thread directly addresses that change. It was causing problems with the site, and therefore interest has been removed altogether.

Hey, do the mods know why Lefein's threads keep disappearing? He just posted a really funny article with a funny pic, but it was gone moments later.
