Just picked up the SONY Experia U, $277au unlocked :)
Upgraded from my Nokia E71 and straight off I can say 3G works like it should now.
Still need some more time with it but really like it.
Also nice to see a screen protector in the box.
SONY improved the second they bought out Ericsson. The new Experia team are doing wonderful things.
Also I adore the girly light strip :)
Ive just changed to an Xperia s from a Galaxy Nexus and am very happy with the change, the screen is one of the best ive seen and the camera is epic. Only thing i dont like is 3 buttons at the bottom i find myself tapping them more than once im currently looking into loading a custom rom to use the same button layout found on the galaxy nexus.
So my student loan finally came in and I've got my hands on the HTC One X at last..just been setting it up and getting apps and updating software.
Can't actually use the phone for a couple of days because I had to get my number transferred from my old network.
Veeeerry happy with my purchase so far, this phone is a beast.

ASUS is unveiling the Padfone 2 next month and it looks like it may actually have north american 3g bands this time around. :-D
leaked pics show 4.7" 720p, LTE, Quadcore Snapdragon S4 Pro, 2gb ram, 13mp rear shooter and a 1.3mp on the front of the phone itself this time around.
My GS3 is worried and she should be :-P
Yeah, I was having that issue with it. I went through two Xperia P's with that problem so I swapped the P with the S and had the same issue. After that, I just gave up on it (returned it to Amazon.)
I've decided to stick with iPhone because of that. Xperia was the only Android phone I really liked. I love the design of it.
Well, I got my unlimited data back :D.
I upgraded my BackFlip from Motorola to a Samsung Galaxy Note. I'm surprised by how much ram it uses. I have only downloaded around 6 app and the ram 500mb/720mb of usage. Is there way to lower that immensly?
iv been wondering about that phone iv got the inspire 4g an i love it very reliable
but i bet my bill is 2x cheaper than yours 8)
Never had that problem I can practically see the screen go off when I place it next to my ear, I've had the X10, Ray and now Xperia S
in fact the only problem I do have is when you other person hangs up and the call is still going but the screen remains off sometimes
But thats only on the S
I say the proximity sensor works fine as I have that wave to silence app

No issues with the screen on my SXU. Still need to play with it more to work out what kind of battery life ill be dealing with.
Stand by seems to chew up 1% an hour.
Smaller phone, smaller battery.
First thing I did was update the thing :)
1 Day 3hrs and 70% battery left, I did use facebook and msn at work tho. The more you make it do the faster the battery gets eaten.
I won't be using it as a music player as I have a red Walkman to go with my black and red MDR-V55s.
It happened with my Xperia too much where it got annoying. After it happened, the software would go into what I started calling 'berserk' mode. That happened both with the P & the S. It was very annoying.
Sony has released or is releasing an updated version of the S, called the SL. I thought about getting that but changed my mind because of what I experienced.
I also had the same issue as you where the screen wouldn't turn back on after a call sometimes....
I did have the yellow tint issue but even that didn't have that issue
My ex complained about the samy I bought her doing that thou, hanging up & putting on hold
But I never had a problem with her phone so I put it down to how she held it?
But ya might of been unlucky with yours mate

Maybe not smosh the phone against your face? If I experience anything ill let you know.
On a recent inspection of my SONY touch tablet S, I can see a yellow ish glow to the botton.
Its only small, but its definitely there :/ Eh.
so boost mobile got the samsung galaxy s2 (runs off of sprints 4G/3G networks)! my bill already shrunk to $35 dollars monthly but i want to switch to simple mobile just for the simple fact that i want the galaxy nexus or the htc one s
