Well i love the band TOOL, their songs are awesome and their VIDEO'S are simply out of this world incredible
Like Sober and schism
I feel the same but swap the last two and put their first album last... not a fan of the oldest and newest haha.
But the one song they did release for the new album is amazing:

I think it's because I first started listening to KsE back in '06 when their new album came out and I spent hours listening to their songs, and when I went to listen to End of Heartache I immediately got the same reaction, but since I've listen to As Daylight Dies first I was still hooked to that album. I think that has something to do with it. The first time I've ever heard KsE was from the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse back in '04 and the song End of Heartache came on. The beginning of that song gets you so pumped!
I've been spending a lot of time listening to a new band 'Love & Death' the vocalist is Brian 'Head' Welch

I'm going to miss Howard in KSE. Jesse isn't bad but I have gotten so used to Howard and loved his vocal style that it is going to be hard going back to Jesse. Although one of my favorite songs by KSE, Jesse did the original. Such an awesome song.

Interesting that you guys rank Alive Or Just Breathing so low. I think that's their best album.
If the new KSE album is anything like the Times of Grace album then I'll be a ridiculously happy camper.
The Soilwork album leaked the other day and I checked it out, Fucking Amazing. Definite purchase when it comes out.
I just bought a couple albums (At the Dream's Edge and All Roads Lead Here) by Chimp Spanner that you guys should check out if you're into instrumental djent/prog stuff, similar to Animals as Leaders. It's a solo project from a musician named Paul Ortiz, also similar to Animals as Leaders. I guess he does music for TV, radio, ads, etc. too.
I'm pretty sure both albums are on YouTube in their entirety.

really nice melodies in that song :D
I've been really into instrumental prog/djent stuff recently. Stuff like Chimp Spanner, David Maxim Micic, Gru, etc.

The new Soilwork album is amazing. Soo so enjoyable.
and yet no one even puts on the rare spineshank album even though it's on youtube. big bummer. It's not really a hard album to get ahold of but it wasn't that big of an album. Not many people noticed them until later on which was their second CD.

I've been listening to a lot of metal bands doing Pop covers lately, anyone have any good ones?
This is my favourite I've found so far, incredible vocals.

I like this one. Better than the original. But I'm not a fan of pop. Not really too metal but they are rock.

Between the Buried and Me's "The Anatomy Of" is a good cover album. No recent pop, but they do some metal, rock and older pop.
The bands they cover are Metallica, Motley Crue, Soundgarden, Queen, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, The Smashing Pumpkins, Earth Crisis, Sepultura, Blind Melon, Faith No More, Depeche Mode, Pantera and Counting Crows.

Avantasia's single is nice, plus Ajren Luccassen seems to be a guest there too ^^. Can't wait for new Ayreon but grr its about time they got Fabio Lione. hehe
Currently listening to new KSE album, so far so good. Need a few listens to really tell.
