Remember when I said PlayStation Move was like having your Hands in a Virtual World?
-
That actually looked pretty cool. I hope we can get this tech in some games before this gen is over.
-
ok, that didn't really do anything for me.

its great seeing what can be done with new tech, but i'd rather have some great Move games right now, after all... its been out long enough.
-
this is a Sony Santa Monica title from the people that made Linger in Shadows.

Cool tech. Would love to see this paired with a VR headset. Full immersion. Thank goodness for buttons. They make so much possible. :D

I wouldn't hold your breath. These motion controllers were designed in mind for the casual gamers first and foremost.

It'd be much better if you weren't restricted by controllers or buttons.

The only way we'll ever get to that point (that actually works and isn't a complete pain in the ass to interface with) is by messing with the brain directly....and that shit is scary. Don't want anything touching my brain or going into it.

I think we're a lot closer than you would admit, without the brain probing.

I posted this video here somewhere about a year ago I'm not sure what thread it was, but I also remember talk of some people getting it to work with just your hands by having so many photos of hands in different positions that it could go through the data base & recreate the movements to match what it sees
-
ONQ, you gettin' yo swole on in the pic? lol
-
Yea, we already knew you had muscles dude.

Things to notice:
- You can apparently walk around (at 0:21)
- The Move controller popping up at the bottom right of the screen is actually an in-game icon (at 0:30)
- You can drive a car (at 0:42)
- Stereoscopic 3D support? (at 0:48)
- Poor pig (at 0:55)
The video also ends with the Santa Monica Studio logo, confirming this is a collaboration between the SCEA studio and Plastic.
And this is not over yet... A third video is apparently out there somewhere to be found already.
"Search for third one. Combining them will give you answers", the source said.
Investigation time guys!
I guess after this game comes out people will see the same thing I saw when I said it's like having your hands in the game
-
-
So basically an open world game kinda with move and cars. The hands remind me of Black and White, would be funny if you had to drag your hands to move around like that too.
-
Looks awesome and with the Santa Monica logo I am sure it means quality as they're very talented devs, look forward to seeing more of this title.
