Looks like they're basing the gameplay off the Lightning DLC from XIII-2
My body is ready. I'm sure there will be many that are upset with more from the XIII saga but i for one am not. I really enjoyed both games and I'm looking forward to this is as well.

Yeah, the framerate was a little choppy. But I'm still interested in seeing more.

Yeah I hate games with a time limit but I don't think the whole thing will be that way and count down. I'm assuming certain segments will be and/or the game is set into 13 days and you have to prioritise missions and stuff. I dunno. Sounds like something along those linesQuote:

They're taking the FFXIV approach, I think they said since their anniversary no Final Fantasy title has been a failure. Since XIV originally flopped they're rebooting it in Reborn and XIII didn't do too well originally so they're wanting to make it a success with Lightning Returns
Notice the Reborn/Returns similarity?
