yeah I have been really disappointed by what they are doing to FFXIII. They should have left the original alone. Now they just keep making the story even more convoluted.
Hopefully, they learn that producing a compilation of a single title doesn't work anymore. It went well with FF7 because of the amount of over rated responses. And we have been informed that this was going to take 10 years. I don't mind what characters they're going to come out with, I just want to play the game. I really appreciate each of the titles of FFXIII.
Wait until the next generation console, they seem to have learned that lesson after showing off that Agnis tech demo.
FFXIII was so great for me because it was a story of a group of people who were thrown midst chaotic events and soon those events led to the discovery of a great hidden conspiracy that literally shook their worlds apart.
FFXIII-2 took all those characters away. Noel, Caius and Yeul had an amazing plot everything else was meh.
Now I don't know what to think about LR. I like lightning but I fear that they will ruin it.
I love the pink hair personally. Whenever I play Resonance of Fate, I always give Leanne pink hair because it does really look awesome.
I dont know, this game seems to be a move in the right direction for square enix... i mean check out this preview http://www.novacrystallis.com/?p=4172
An assortment of shops will be available in the game as well. For example, at one such shop in Luxerion, Lightning was able to purchase some food items that restored her HP. Other items shown for sale included abilities such as Fire and Blizzara. Unfortunately, however, it seems that some shops will close up during specific times of day. Toriyama even suggests that this might be the only Final Fantasy game with such a wide variety of shops to visit.
The world of Nova Chrysalia (formerly known as Novus Partus) is a strange land. Four continents make up its base and include the city of light Luxerion, a vast natural landscape dotted with villages known as The Wildlands, and The Dead Dunes – a desert location featuring many dungeons hidden beneath ruins that hark back to Final Fantasys past.
I just got around to watching the extended trailer.
Clips of lighting running...
Battle scenes that look like they could've come from the previous games.
Only thing I'm excited about is the return of Noel. I hope he dies.
The design for recently revealed Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII character Lumina was created not by Lightning illustrator Tetsuya Nomura, but by Toshiyuki Itahana, who previously designed download costumes for Final Fantasy XIII-2, this week’s Famitsu reveals.
The weekly magazine has new tidbits of information following last week’s online previews. The fight scene with Noel depicted in the extended trailer has to do with a process involving the release of Noel’s soul—but somehow ends up becoming a battle.
- The Active Time Battle (ATB) system is the busiest it’s ever been.
- Players can perform style changes in an instant.
- When you press a button, the command is immediately invoked.
- You use the ATB in the field more and dash less.
- There is an action to slide down sand dunes, too.
- In the demonstration shown to Famitsu, Lightning was shown wearing a Violet Dress, Rapier Sword, and Rose Patterned Shield.
And some bits from a Tetsuya Nomura interview (presumably on Lightning’s new outfit):
- The order was for “a body suit of leather.”
- The image for both arms was of a spinal cord.
- The shield and sunglasses may have been designed by someone else.
Even MOAR new screens
there were some more I couldn't link
Open environments are good
This game seems promising, can't wait for it.

The environments look pretty good. As a fan of the XIII games I'll definitely be buying this.
Hmmm, this game might actually be pretty cool. I guess I should watch FFXIII-2's ending.
