Well durr.....a rental service is always going to do well.
I feel motivated to work at Sony now. If people are getting paid well enough to do this..
Then working there should be a breeze. :snickerQuote:
Buser explained that Sony has done tons of research and came to a conclusion: “Gamers want games.”
After all these years they finally decided to hire captain obvious!!!
Yeah well by sub ran out and I won't be re-subbing. I want games but not ones that are 2+ years old that I already bought ><
I understand its great value and all, but 90% off the retail games, Deus Ex, Borderlands, Infamous, LBP, Space Marine etc etc I already own on one platform or another.. I understand its difficult - and not very wise - putting new games on there for 'free' but thats the only thing that will benefit me to be honest.
PS+ has my HDD out of space.
I have games that I would've never bought. Excellent service.
PS+ was never going to give its best value to forum going game addicts like us, who buy a lot of games, but I have a few friends here who are REALLY benefiting from PS+. It's just rough for the hobbyist gamers who have large collections. Still, PS+ for Vita bitches!
They dont have as many good games nor add as many new ones for the US PS+ as they do for the EU PS+. Until they do I'm not resubbing.
With PS+ I haven't bought a game for a while now. Hope they keep it up.

Looking into getting PS+ next month I'm just no home enough to take advantage of the services currently but its a great deal!
PS+ is an awesome service. I like the fact that it actually caters to the gamer. Sony got this one right.
I signed up for 3 months (just before E3), and we got 10 (or 12?) PS3 games, which was awesome at the time, I played through a bunch of them. But after that SCEE seemed to take a step back and started putting up minis and small arcade PSN titles again and not adding many full games (if any at all), other than RDR (which I and most people probably already have, plus it wasn't even the GOTY edition), so I just let my sub run out.
Not that I didn't get my moneys worth, I completed 3 or 4 of the games, saved a ton through discounts and got tons of free avatars and themes, so I got the value out of it but just not worth continuing the subscription.
PS+ should put the subs on less congested download servers.
Those that have subbed got a load of "fee games" and then let their sub run out. But a month or 2 later you re-sub can you still download the games you previously had for free?
what bothers me is this...
Buser explained that Sony has done tons of research and came to a conclusion: “Gamers want games.”
honestly, if this is the bullshit people have to wait for some crackheaded idiot to make a dumb statement like this in order for Sony to understand what the hell gamers want, while now I believe things may get better, it sure makes me skeptical about the intelligence factor within Sony as a whole. I mean, that statement alone is the most stupid thing I've ever heard, what makes it so much worse is the guy and the company are serious when they say that. "Gamers want games" well no freakin crap they want games, that's why they buy a damn "gaming console" is to play games on. o.O is it honestly this hard for a corporation to understand this. I mean, Sony's been making games, publishing games since the 90's and this is what they have to say after 16+ years? what the hell.
I just......................o.O..................... . honestly.......................ugh
it's statements like that, that almost make me lose any hope for a company. end point, bunch of dumbasses over there, WOW!
Agree. I paid £30 and have RDR, infamous 1&2, LBP 1&2, tombraider, Outland and some other, all of which I had never played before but always thought about getting. Along with cloud storage and auto updates it was a no brainer for me :D
Edited to add, how could I forget starhawk single player too
