I really like my S3. The worst thing about it though is something F34R said..it's battery life is horrible. It just sucks power even when you're not using it. Don't really know how other phones compare but it's pretty bad, never had to charge a handset this much in my life.
The screen is nice for browsing these here forums :)
Yeah, I can't realistically need to charge my battery every four hours just to use it... that was the biggest downfall for me an the S3.
Link me to a ROM you coded to work on a phone that the ROM wasn't released for.
Far out what happened to this thread?
Understand that the discussion went on about different opinions and reasons why the S3 outsells the iPhone 5.
The S3 is a nice phone but i dont like using android compared to other OS's.....windows phones would be my next port of call if i was to ever leave iOS. The Nokia Lumia line is much better than any Android phone imo.
The Windows Metro (or whatever they want to call it now) is sleek. I was actually considering it before MS decided to turn all walled garden for all their platforms.
It's nice though. I'd recommend that over the Apple stuff - especially if you had Win 8 + Surface + XBOX + Samsung/Nokia Win8 based phone.
Much better combo than any of the Apple ecosystem imo.
I own one, have done since launch. Was tossing up between this and the HTC ONE X, but the poor camera and lack of a micro SD slot (fkcing criminal on ANY phone) drove me away from it.
At this point I just cannot justify buying anything else.
It has the expandable memory I need, one of the best cameras and screens on the market, still up there in terms of processing power and the developer community is as strong as ever.
If the HTC One X+ had camera improvements I would probably switch to that as IMO it has the better case and body. 64GB internal would be enough.
