I was pretty much obsessed with dinosaurs as a child so I had a ton of Jurassic Park toys. I still think a lot of the older ones look badass. Jurassic Park had the best dinosaurs man.
Something along the lines of this, really loved them.
Beyblades was a massive part of my childhood too.
Iv still got most of my star wars toys and figures...
i made a photo on here once,of all my figures pointing and laughing at Vader, as a joke to that vaderscorner character that trolled and got trolled outta town on here
Dragon Ball z action figures.
Poke'mon cards and action figures
Yugioh. I played the card game religiously
My two favorite toys as a kid:
I forgot which year it was, but there was a solid year when the Yo-Yo was extremely popular. Kids were bringing them to school, and you would see them all over the place.
It had to be a Duncan!
I would practice with my yo-yo while jamming to The Simpson Sing The Blues on cassette.
Eh i forgot about yo yos They had a guy to come our school and do tricks with yo yos. We all got very excited and then after the show he gave us a catalog of yoyos. Those things were expensive to.
Working elementary kids for cash FTW!
My collection was nearly close to this colloection
Model Railway - Hornby etc
everyone saying gobots were the cheap ass version of transformers are DEAD WRONG... luckily i was able to grow up with both... and
EPIC GOBOTS vs. TRANSFORMERS BATTLES TOOK PLACE!
Also grew up with mad amounts of awesome:
went to sega after my nes though.. i had both the sega 1 and sega 2 (and the 6 button controller!)
i had every single marvel/x-men toy and even though i was around 8 when i started buying them (they released in 1990) i always kept them in the package lol... still do with most of my toys i buy now.
also had one of these untill it broke and my dad took off his skin... oh man the nightmares i have of skinless teddy ruxpin...
on top of the multitudes of silverhawks toys... its funny, i actually never liked thundercats or he-man... but damn did i LOVE silverhawks! The diecast metal voltron toy too... oh man that was awesome...
I remember bring your toy to school day. We had to stand in the front of the class and talk about it and just show it off. I took in my die cast Voltron and it took me ages to transform it as the legs on each lion were stiff as ****. Wound up trading it away for some Joes, regret that now, looking back on it.
Anyone played YuGioh! ? This was in my early teens, exactly 10 years ago. My best friend eventually became my rival. It began when I bought the Kaiba Starter Deck and he bought the Yugi Starter Deck and throughout my years in middle school we just got stronger.
