I think this is the best way for the staff to select the next batch of SMC's or whatever we'll be called then lol.
I'm excited for this process to play out and think it would be awesome for the community to be a part of it!
I have never seen a forum where the staff let the members choose the next moderator/staff member. This is more than enough compromise in my opinion. But I am an ass like that. :)Quote:

this is exactly how we chose our Head Students at the high school i went to....
for the most part, this system works.
if PSU expands (which it will :snicker), this system becomes someways ridiculous. as the 'guy' who is more popular will get the posting so the process is moot...
however, for here and now, it is a great decision by the staff :D

Glad I ran across this thread because I have a question.
How does a member get himself banned, work around the ban, get permanently banned after getting caught with his 2nd account, have his 1st account unbanned and promoted to SMC?
I'm just curious. The guy isn't doing a bad job, honestly. A big change around in behavior he has shown since returning.

Solider has been great behind the scenes and doing a great job as SMC I haven't been around as long as some of the older members here never knew about the previous mentioned stuff but he's been a great addition to the team and proves you can get over the past and become a great member.

Soldier95B hasn't been a ball fella, well at least in my experience. I don't know how he was before when he got banned but I'm sure his changes and contribution was noticed by the staff, hence the promotion.
