Already that time of year huh..Dec. 7 to see none of my favorite games win ha. Seriously though, I usually tune in..the closest we have in the industry to being official.
Why do I not see Borderlands 2 on the list for Game of the Year? Why the hell is Dishonored on there? It was ok, but sure as hell not GOTY.
Not many games I actually care for up there.
Spike VGA's don't really hold much ground in terms of actual value of opinion as to who wins. Last year proved (more than others) that it was basically a fapfest of advertisers and publishers that just wanted to hype up more sales.
At least the Oscars have some artistic integrity to the way it's run.

Well since Assasin's Creed 3 actually does look like a pretty decent game I decided to vote for it. While I'm a huge playstation fanboy I didn't vote for Journey as I feel it's slightly overrated. I bought it, played it, and thought it was playable, nothing more nothing less.
Games that are underrated and faaaaaaaaaar better are Outland and Trine 2. Outland especially, it's a fucking gem.
Next year The Last of Us will win, even with the next generation arriving. You can hold me to it xD

Spike's Videogame awards are clearly a joke. I just hope for new game footage and surprises.
I just clicked to vote for Gravity Rush and Journey. Lol. Give them more exposure. XCOM: Enemy Unknown is pretty badass too.

I got Assassin's Creed III as my GOTY. Borderlands 2 is a close runner up.
