When folks selling on eBay are taking losses 2 weeks after launch, you know the console is in trouble. Look at this guy for instance.

He paid the following (I'm going to assume he got some deals here)
$350 console
$90 games (buy 1 get 1 half off)
$40 controller (assuming he found a sale somewhere).
$70 eBay + paypal fees
$35 sales tax in the state he lives (thanks for the info google)
$30 shipping + insurance + signature confirmation
= total overhead for this bundle is at $615.
So he's paying 615 and getting 537. Even if he got some extra deals, got a lower sales tax rate in a different state, or had some other way to reduce costs, there's simply no way he made a profit on this. Not only are the stores well stocked, I fully expect a flood of returns from people that thought they were going to flip them for profits.
