Pretty sure this was palnned from the start. The new THQ that's under Clearlake now has a powerful partner no more debut and Jason Rubin who has friends at clearlake will now be the CEO.

In the end as long as south park, saints row 4, and metro last light release (I still hope for a Darksiders 3) then I honestly dont care about the "behind the scene" stuff.
It's just over and who ever buys all or parts of the company... Needs to improve the games on offer
I was reading an article on assumed buyers of IP's interesting stuff the one that BOTHERED me was Mircosoft getting southpark as an IP so the game wouldn't come to PS3 hopefully that doesn't happen
Look at it this way, with all that's happening
The many companies that will want this company might actually be so slim, that they might just strip over three companies
I am going against that he now... It might actually be the nail in the coffin
Here's where I read IGN's assumptions..

It it could go tits up for the persons that buy them to
They could have constant failures on their hands, when remaking the series that THQ are well known for
I feel for those guys that will be unemployed. Hopefully they are picked up by other companies soon.
The people hit the most are the employees in this situation i feel for them ive gone thru this in the past
Likewise, just before Christmas to
Yes not all of them will lose their jobs, some will be picked up quickly and others will stay with THQ. But the ones that will actually lose their jobs
Will be safe for awhile and the money they have made.... But that will not last long
some new info on whats what with THQ's problems

Ubisoft has been in a lot of rumors concerning thq lately....that would be the best option for gamers.
This a great idea for Ubisoft to buy up THQ, They might actually improve or ruin some of the games
Because it can make them awful ones disappear Lmao
After today THQ will no longer be trading on the Nasdaq. It should move to the OTC pink sheets though management hasn't filed the paper work to do so. If they don't bother to do anything, the stock will become untradable and people holding shares won't be able to sell. Generally in a situation like this the company moves to the OTC market though.
that's a shame, but under the conditions the company are in right now... They need to focus on what is important and that is the games that are being made and the workers
Convenient that THQ just wrapped up their Humble Bundle last month... over $5,000,000 in sales and 850,000 bundles sold. Not all of that went to THQ, but looking back, it does look like a money grab.
I purchased the bundle... anyone know if the multiplayer servers will stay alive through the bankruptcy?
Looks like the bond holders are pretty pissed off about the shit sandwich they're being forced to eat.

pissed off is an understatement mate... With all the money they are going to loose and how many contracts that the company has lost
does not come close to how many are actually pissed with the company right now
lawsuits will be all over THQ
