The European numbers ALL show that the PS3 has led in Europe. The numbers that Sony has released for Europe also combine all PAL territories with Europe as well.
PAL or not, the PS3 leads in Europe either way. Though the margin is small. Last numbers showed the PS3 was leading in Europe by about 2 million.
MS caught up big time in Europe this generation - I would say in large part thanks to the UK where the Xbox is as popular as it is in the US. With the UK being considered the largest games market in Europe
Sony did release the PS3 across PAL regions in March 2007 (at bend you over prices) so to have a lead is pretty impressive
PS3 and 360 do about the same WW overall, Japan alone isn't enough to offset 360s lead in the US and UK so yeah most if not all other countries in Europe; PS3 leads which makes up the numbers.
Sales between PS3 and Xbox360 are about even with xbox360 obviously have that year head start. This has been a slugfest between the two both great consoles in the end we win
I, as a Europian curse any friend who tries to buy a xbox so sure ps3 will own around here :)
Actually in my country there is no xbox :) Maybe around 10 :)
