You guys seem to be having a lot of fun. I have four of my familiars at their 3rd form(Have over 30 hours into the game so far).

One question: Some of you guys can already use your DLC familiars?. I still have my golden Hurley ticket, how do I obtain him?. Or do I have to progress further in the game to claim him?(If I could have done so earlier then I am preparing to kick myself).

I was able to turn my Draggle Ticket to the dude at the trials place, so yeah.. that was like 10(?) hours into the game lol

You've got to be kidding me!. Let me check. I have the Travel spell so I can get there rather quickly.

Edit: Yep, got him and that dragon familiar. Thanks, Fenix. If I didn't ask then I would have gone through the entire game wondering, Lol. Brb while I go kick myself now. :snicker

Wow the game really starts to open up a lot after Hammelin.

I bascally spent all of yesterday evening completing all the new tasks that appear after you acquire the new and nifty Transport spell, incredibly useful. Its awesome being able to all the towns and dungeons you previously visited. Completed 2 of the leagues available at the Colosseum. Though the 3rd boss knocked me out with his massive robot. Just entered the Sky Pirate's hideout now to continue the story. :)

it does just keep getting better and better :)

when you finish the little bit at the sky pirate hideout it's even more fun ;)

Indeed. I spent like an hour exploring the world after that. Quite fun and so many places I want to explore now but I can't due to some restrictions(You'll find out on your own).

set it on easy and take your time to lvl up before going to the next area

I am endgame now it seems.

About to head into the White Witch's Castle..the stuff with Shadar was crazy, didn't guess he was Oliver's other half. Knew all along though that he wouldn't be able to bring his mum back and it was a surprise that she was actually Allicia. Also the revelation that Pea was the wizard king's daughter and became The White Witch, I'll be interested to find out why she seems to have separated from herself and become a child again.

EDIT: Credits are rolling. What an amazing game, definitely one of my top games this generation. Was touch and go there right at the end Ollie was my last character standing for the last boss. All characters around lvl 70 beat it by spamming his most powerful spell over and over. :lol:

Now it is time for post game content and getting that lovely Platinum. :D

I beat the game on, Sunday. What a beautiful and pure game. It's a nice change from all the unnecessary violence and profanity we see in games today.

SPOILER ALERT FOR NI NO KUNI!!!

I was seriously expecting, Oliver to save his mother but, Shadar showed him the truth about her being the same sage that confronted him years ago. The whole scene about Shadar's past and identity was a real tear-jerker. I also loved how they made him seem like a final boss!.

I didn't share the same sentiments for the white witch though but I was sad to see, Pea go. The whole council and that fat bird being nothing but illusions was a nice touch(Well minus one of the council members who was actually real, sort of).

I've been doing all the side missions after the game's end. Right now I'm trying to acquire some rare materials to make the War God's axe and finish Horace's riddles.

Out of nowhere the game suddenly became boring for me. Any time I think to put the disc in the console I end up putting it back in the case and playing Uncharted or Infamous. It's strange, because I was loving every moment of it for a while, and now I just feel like the game is an endless repeat of the same thing.

Meet someone.

Drippy tells you they need some heart/enthusiam/bravery/restraint/whatever

Do that

Go to the other world

Talk talk talk

Etc.

I'm going to leave it on the shelf for a while and hopefully take interest in it again down the road.

Yeah even the cutscenes after the Shadar fight made it seem like the end of the game. I was sitting there thinking WTF the White Witch hasn't even revealed herself yet, is there going to be a sequel or something!?

I'm currently fightng the stronger versions of all the game's bosses for the weird guy with the bunny head. I'm intrigued because he is standing in front of a door to ANOTHER world and I really want to see what happens!

I'm at the point where

I've just got the horn thing and can cross the marshes. Ollie is level 39 and most of my familiars are pretty powerful, will it get too hard should I grind some more? So far I haven't found any of the fights too difficult at all
