I hope so! Early November is fine with me.

Those dates were released a long time ago. And proven false by Sony. So no, I will not trust anything till Sony says themselves.
All of you talking about the whole unlucky numbers (4, 13) mumbo jumbo, it's a business where such things don't matter, I mean we are getting the PS''4'' after all regardless of it being bad luck in Japan.
Actually, they are calling it the PS Yon in Japan.
Both Shi and Yon mean 4, but only Shi is unlucky because it also means death.
PlayStation 4ever! Greatness Awaits. Can't wait.
Friday 1st November for Australia I think wouldn't be 23rd that would be logistics overkill its a busy time of year sony won't want to be doing that on a worldwide scale.
Xbox one is being released on a Tuesday the 5th so I can honestly see November 1st
the way 4 is pronounced in japanese 'shay' sounds like death, which is why the number is considered unlucky there. 13 however is considered an unlucky number almost everywhere.
in any case, nov 13th is still speculation and most probably a placeholder date used by a retailer.
Been announced but that's the release date for launch Xbox one games in Australia so it's more than likely set in stone for that date unless it changes which it could.
Been to 3 EB Games stores and they have all said that the PS4 will be launching first week in December for Australia so I'm betting now that a November 26/27 release date for America's. no official press statements or wording from anywhere but one fella claims that he's received phone calls from Sony Australia reps saying that that's the plan for Australia but its subject to change at anytime.
Apparently the Xbox one will launch a month ahead of the PS4 according to a manager I spoke with he said its also more feasible because PS4 Pre-orders are currently 66 percent more than the Xbox One so consoles are in over supply at the moment and finding one on launch day will be extremely easy because the demand isn't as great as the PS4 that's why they're launching earlier.
