I wouldn't mind a decent keyboard, at the moment I just use a basic Cherry 'ultra silent' keyboard which does the job for me, it's comfortable to use and the keys have a nice feel.
I wouldn't need anything too mental for a new keyboard as I don't do much PC gaming anymore, more of a console and handheld gamer now.
Quak Quak :D
edit: Been using it for a few hours now. Mechanical keyboards are the ****. It feels like a dream to type on. My model Ducky has the red switches so i can't comment on the others but this is ace!
Nice choice! When I was shopping for my Zibal, Ducky was ALWAYS being recommended. Good thing you don't live near me - I think you're gonna kick ass! Your ex-black lettered kb, that's friggin hardcore!
Do you get a wrist rest with that keyboard? If not I can see your wrists hurting in the future. :p
Been using this for a few days now. I'm going to do my best effort to spread the word of Mechanical keyboards. You owe it to yourself to get one.
Yeah, no wrist rest came with the ducky, something i think that should be included with a keyboard worth almost £150 but i've used it for a few hours (about 6) non-stop and i didn't have any aching so I think i'll be OK for now. It's something i'll be looking into though.
Absolutely love the different lighting modes on it. Currently using the reactive mode which lights up the keys you press for a few seconds then they fade out. Looks really good when you're typing really quickly
No way I am spending that much on a keyboard u avin a giraffe.
Ducky do a leather wrist rest
All these fancy boards when all you need is...
Yeah, it was steep. I actually got it for £140 on eBay. I decided to take the plunge and get this one though because I heard it was built like a tank andf most mechanical keyboard forums I checked out had Ducky at the top or near the top of the most recommended ones so i decided to give it a go.
Plus this thing is built like a tank. I could smash the hell out of it and it shouldn't even bother it. My hand would probably come off worse
Been looking at that leather one. Not sure how it would feel or look after a few years? I can imagine it looking a bit tacky. I might get one down the line though.
Wrist rests are useful. I thought they were a gimmick at first but these days I find if I do not use one my wrist and fingers ache more.
