Fuck the smileys are perfect.
Naaw.. I'll still hang with you guys. This'll pass soon anyway :D
Just in case though..
@UKhardcore: What does Gamespot or IGN being biased have anything to do with this (part subjective, part satire) video? How does it change the fact if they were biased in the past? I'm really excited to hear more of your input on this. :-)
If Gamespot has a bias, it's towards their fanbase. If that fanbase is vocally and statistically backing something, why wouldn't they start to put their money where their mouth is?
Besides, if this really was a hack and slash piece, it would have come out months ago. Instead, not only does it come out while MS are sort of able to tell up from down now, but even at the end of the video leaves it open-ended for MS to pull their heads out of their butt.
This was a softball compared to what a lot of core gamers think of XBox right now.
i don't think the video was part satire. it was part subjective, yes, as in speculation, i mean it didn't present a very heavy factual case, it based one of the articles that was based on speculation itself.
he makes good points but they're just valid points that may or may not matter. fairly sure that the actual sales won't be 4:1. possibly more like 2:3. or it may be close to 4:1 in the beginning but might get closer later. or might get further much later.
all stages of the console will be crucial and things could change or even out more.
The Playstation appears to be bulldozing the XBone and it's starting to become less and less of an industry secret by the day.
Gotta admit Lefein.. You got a better understanding of this subject than me.
On Topic: Summed everything up about right.
Off Topic: That guy is awesome. Check out his Escape From Mount Stupid videos, he recaps game histories with a great sense of humour.
Sure! Right after a brief meltdown! :snicker
hmm well i'm not saying it can't happen. if you have seen enough of these instances then maybe there's some truth to it.
but even if that's true in the beginning, to sustain that, would be difficult.
Gamespot's "bias" or not, I feel like the thread has been successfully derailed.
Let's get back onto the real, and most important story here:
