what's more shocking to me is that it's not some small time developer...and not some small time publisher...EA is the biggest publisher in the world IIRC and they just don't give a ****.
Fair fight is the anti cheat or one f them used on the PC version, they have a Twitter account which they post screen grabs of players banned and complaining to the cheat creators websites, it makes for amusing reading.
Not sure what bugs everyone is seeing, but shoddy hit detection and rubber banding are the two things that I continue to notice. Once DICE gets those sorted, and buy replacing the server farm it looks like they are taking heavy action to fix it, then the game should be more than playable.
don't get me wrong this is my fav multiplayer game I haven't played for a week or so cuz of lag I just went to play a game of rush and obliteration and both were laggy makes the game unplayable this is BS
obliteration doesn't lag for me. anything less than 64 players does not. however, recently i have some some improvement but still not perfect yet.
Apparently the entire European servers for all consoles were hosted in Dublin.
It's been really good for me recently. Have been able to play without raging due to network problems. Just got my 5th service star for the Scar H SV :)
BBK.. Tapa. Talked.
I ****ing love BF4, best game on ps4 so far!!! But why the hell does every new dlc have to be laggy af when they come out the first two weeks??!
Rumours there Should be a patch being deployed today.
BF4 Servers Undergo Hardware Improvements to Fix Lag and “Rubber-Banding” Issues
It's pretty funny how vengeful some people are, looking for ways to get back, especially if your position is annoying the hell out of them. Just as fun to avoid them and revenge kill them first.
Jeez I have so many hours put into this game, more than any game since CoD 4 (which is ALOT)
But for the love of god I need a chopper repairer! So annoying when the other team have a dominant chopper and no one helps take it out.
Supposedly the new server hardware is in place, but not totally optimized/configured yet. That being said, last night the game played like a dream come true.
oh new hardware, i guess it's only fair...you know, they didn't have any money to have adequate hardware so now that they have all of our money, they have money to spend.
let's open up a fund for EA. they are poor.
IT cost them more money to do ti this way I imagine. IF they bought these more powerful server from the start they wouldn't have had to migrate and do what they did now.
That is how these PUBLISHERS work, spend the bare minimum on the games infrastructure then see if things need improving, how many times have you seen or bee the victim of a newly released game and not been able to login due to them not investing in and having the infrastructure to cope with the high demand to begin with?
Sometimes it could be a miscalculation but I think most times it is down to wanting to not spend the money.
also, we pay for PS+ for this exact reason...so they are paid for the servers. there isn't any reason for this anymore, no excuse.
and i'll be speaking with my wallet come next time.
now, i do know that EA servers are separate and they probably don't get money for it from Sony but I would be furious if some servers went down for a game when we're paying for PS+ now.
dude i know what you mean. this is why im looking to get into a clan. to many rambos going off on their own doing their own thing not helping out. but seems like clans are non existent.
ITs always better with platoon mates communicating.
