Let's hope Akira's adaptation into live action can achieve a similar, or better result.
Very excited for this. Shame it's not shot in IMAX. A monster this big deserves the IMAX treatment. And I don't mean that IMAX 3D shit. I mean, actual IMAX film camera in 70mm stock like TDK and TDKR were shot on. Imagine seeing Godzilla in IMAX.
Edit: If the trailers continue like this... Spidey is gonna get crushed :)
If there is a crossover with Godzilla, I'd love to see a fully-developed Clover included, what it'd look like and be capable of. The infant was a little over 100 meters already and riddled with parasites that could bite and pop humans in two as well as two lower appendages to scoop up and digest anyone caught on the street.
I loved Pacific Rim too but the whole point was to get rid of the kaiju. It was fun but not really like Godzilla and Clover - both terrifying, dark interpretations of what it'd be like if a kaiju were to invade.
"Size does matter".... that's what she said :snicker
Really enjoyed the last Godzilla movie. It was cool for its time. That also came with the animated series which was actually good too.
It was this one:
It's funny cause the size of Godzilla's foot in that poster is pretty much his entire size in the movie, like as big as the building on right side of that poster. Maybe a little bigger, give or take. And the ending, huge cliffhanger. I was waiting for the sequel for about 5-6 years after the movie came out and then Godzilla 2000 came out in theaters and I hated it.
I believe so, the drawing looks similar. By the way, just in case:
The trailer hyped me up like the ones for Pacific Rim did, and that was a hell of a disappointment. Hopefully this movie actually takes itself seriously all the way through. The scenes in Pacific Rim with those fucking comedy scientists ruined the film.
Pacific Rim was such a fun, awesome movie. I'm pretty sure the new Godzilla will be a serious movie from start to finish though.
well i hope they hire P.diddy to fuck up a other great rock song
